Cuz Newegg sucks
Ordered from them, one of the floor base of the speakers all scratched up but the speakers themselves were perfect. Contacted them about the issue, asked if I could just get the base replaced and they said they don't send replacements so I had to contact klipsh which thankfully they did send me a replacement. So I know why alot of people don't like buying from them.

RP-160M are excellent speakers. They are predecessors to the 600 and sounds every bit as good. At these prices they're giving them away!

How well will this blend with other speakers?

Right now my setup is mostly the sony CORE speakers:

1x Sony CORE Center channel
4x SonyCORE floorstanding
2x Sony CORE bookshelf
4x Sony CORE Atmos
3x Klipsch subs

Unfortunately, the center channel is probably the weakest of the line (along with the sub). Would a Klipsch sound out of place with them?

When it comes to blending that's tricky, speaking very generally Klipsch are generally thought to be "Bright" or a bit much on the high frequency end of the spectrum. I'm not familiar with Sony CORE, but I bought a set with a different center speaker and they definitely wouldn't blend with my more "Warm" Polk setup. Would you say something on the brighter side would mesh with your towers? That said, brightness on your center means crisp clear dialog, and it definitely delivers.

Thanks for the reply! It's hard to say really -- I've seen people describe them as "Warm", "bright" and "Neither!", but blending them is definitely what I'm wanting to do, as I've mixed and match (much more than a single speaker) in the past and it was definitely noticeable when audio traveled from one speaker to the next, which is why I ended up replacing them all with the sony core line. I might just stick with what I have for now and not jump into it again until I'm ready to swap everything out

if it was posted by an SD editor that usually posts this brand and it was from their preferred vendor, it would be front page already.

How would you describe the sound signature of the Pioneer's Andrew Jones series? Would you classify them as bright or warm ?I'm looking to upgrade (not blend but replace all ) but still undecided if I need to take the Klipsch route or Polk route

I feel like most people including myself would classify those as laid back and warm, In fact that are known for that mellow kind of sound signature. Lacking the upper end sparkle a speaker like that would have. If you have tone controls turn the treble up a few clicks and you'll get and idea of how these sound.
