Get $300 with a new checking account and another $200 with a new savings account with qualifying activities. Plus, get an extra $400 bonus when you open both accounts at the same time. TOTAL $900.
Checking offer is not available to existing Chase checking customers. Savings offer is not available to existing Chase savings customers. Both offers are not available to those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance within the last 3 years. You can receive only one new checking and one new savings account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account. Coupon is good for one-time use.
To receive the checking bonus:
1) Open a new Chase Total Checking account, which is subject to approval;
AND 2) Have your direct deposit made to this account within 90 days of coupon enrollment. Your direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Person to Person payments (such as Zelle®) are not considered a direct deposit. Micro-deposits do not qualify as a direct deposit for the bonus. Micro-deposits are small deposits, typically less than $1, that are sent to your account to verify it is the correct account. After you have completed all the above checking requirements, we'll deposit the bonus in your new account within 15 days.
To receive the savings bonus:
1) Open a new Chase SavingsSM account, which is subject to approval;
2) Deposit a total of $15,000 or more in new money into the new savings account within 30 days of coupon enrollment;
AND 3) Maintain at least a $15,000 balance for 90 days from the coupon enrollment. The new money cannot be funds held by you at Chase or its affiliates. After you have completed all the above savings requirements, we'll deposit the bonus in your new account within 15 days.
To receive the extra bonus:
You must open the checking and savings account at the same time and complete all requirements above for BOTH the checking bonus and savings bonus. After you have completed all requirements, we will deposit the remaining bonus due in your new account within 15 days.
To receive any of the above bonuses, the enrolled account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout. Bonuses are considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).

If you close either account within 6 months of account opening, you will forfeit the bonus.
$900 / $15,500 = 0.058

1. you need to have more than $500 direct deposit once to get $200 bonus for checking. After that you don't need to have direct deposit unless you can maintain $1500 minimum daily balance. Failing to do so would have $12 fee per month to maintain account. OR an average beginning day balance of $5,000 or more in any combination of this account and linked qualifying Chase checking, savings, and other balances.
2. For savings, after 90 days you can withdraw the amount but need account active for 6 months like checkings. To maintain an account you need $300 daily balance or $25 autotransfer per month from checkings account otherwise you will be charged $5 per month until the account closure.
Having $500 of my pension direct deposited each month should avoid any fees, then have that money auto transferred into my normal account the next day.
Also.. I don't know how to attach the screen shot, but no where does it say I need to keep the savings account open for 6 months. Only 90 days from coupone enrollment.
I'll be confirming it before withdrawing it though
2. You just need to keep it until you get paid by chase and then you can close the account? No fees?
3. How transfer money back and forth between your current bank and Chase?
Bonus: Do these deals only allow you to do it once? If I close my accounts, can I do it again in the future? How much time needs to pass?
Tried to do one for my daughter and it said with the information I put in the account was denied? The personal info was correct. My daughter has never had any chase account (she's 26),,, she has good credit.. I don't understand. Why would it be refused?
It appears on google search from various contributors... I just dont see anything official from Chase in the fine print.

For savings, you will need to have $300 to avoid any fees. So I would withdraw 15000 and leave $300 after or auto-transfer $25 per month from checking to saving after I get the bonus and close the account after 6 months.

Not only did the confirmation say this, but also the small print on the complete terms and conditions. However, I will call to confirm this before I withdraw the $15,000.
For checking, I was going to just have $500 direct deposited, then auto-transfered out the next day. But it's probably easier to leave $1,500 in there.
Can I direct just a small portion of my pension to go into the new account?
I'm not even sure if I can do that with my pension.. I used to split deposits with my paycheck, so hopefully I can with my pension too.
Also does this direct deposit need to be done every month for the 3 months the $15,000 is in there or can it be stopped after the first deposit?
Also, was it confirmed that the $15,000 needs to be there only 3 months, or 6 months as one person had stated.
Thanks for any help
Only one direct deposit of any amount. $15k balance for 3 months only, but account needs to stay open for 6 months.
I got $600 for savings and checking.
You have up to 30 days to fund the 15k after opening....so your window could be shrunk to 60 days with 15k. There are minimums set for direct deposit which depends on how much is sitting in your account, and no micro deposits accepted. That's all listed in the fine print...just nothing on the 6 months though.
Also if you hold other Chase bank credit cards, they can cancel those when cancelling your accounts. There is no great data point on that though....maybe if they see your gaming them by closing after you get your $$$.
