I bought a 512GB version of this card (MB-ME512KA/AM) November 2021. So about 1 year ago. I've only used it in my phone since purchase. I did an initial SD card verification test (you can never be sure with SD card fakes), and have barely over 100gb written to it.

My card suddenly won't let me write to it a month ago. Can't even format it. Chatted with Samsung support, gave me to a number to call. Call the number, told me to e-mail. Emailed them. It's been 2 weeks and other than the initial e-mail no response.

Yeah... I totally agree with the above sentiment on both the product quality and warranty support.

Junk, 100% failure rate within 3 months and Samsung does not honor warranty (search reviews for warranty related complaints)

I don't care about the gb theft but longevity. I have an Evo 512 card in my phone for 2 years. Has Samsung gone down hill?

Yeah.... but it's holy Samsung... lol They enjoy such a big fan base that won't accept that Samsung isn't always a no-brainer.

That being said, I own a few of these SD cards that are being *lightly* used and none have failed so far. But these reviews concern me a bit, so I just placed an order for a few of the Pro endurance cards so I can replace the ones that we use in our phones.

Honestly, I'll probably still buy Samsung cards...

I buy enough electronic to know, things break. Just don't make me jump through a bunch of hoops and give me the run around. All the while advertising this "10 year warranty".

I own many Samsung cards. This is the first time I've had to RMA with them and it's been a bad experience. I've had better treatment from no name Amazon popups.

Do you think the pro endurance will have lesser failure rate?

Totally agree. I also had one Samsung SSD fail out of nowhere, and I still continue to buy their products.

Difficult to tell, but based on reviews I'm hopeful.

Moore's Law .. except prices for storage are decreasing per cent over time unfortunately

Great deal though and Samsung MicroSD cards have never failed me nor caused any speed issues.

the old green version of this card was ok, the blue (current version) won't last 3 months
Samsung warranty is a scam, you open a RMA case on the website and not getting any response for a month

This may be out of context question, but the same card I used in my S20 phone. The phone is broken but I could remove the Sd card from phone. Now the the card is having all my pictures on it that I transferred to pc, but I am not able to do exFAT or FAT32 format on PC. Any tool or tricks that anyone here can suggest? Thanks

Had one of these fail on me after about 1 month and about 80GB written. Write speeds throttled down to 600KB/s outta nowhere. Old selects (green) and evos are still chugging along okay. I'd probably go for the pro next sale assuming their "better" batch micro sd's are worthy of the dark blue coat and pro label and im definitely registering for the warranty out of caution.
