Hmm. Just bought the $12 laptop stand. I wonder if this would have been better. I guess a laptop stand is easier to move around.

I have this. It's...okay. The range of motion is very limited, the joints are a PITA to adjust, and the limits of what you can put on it are very strict. I tried a 32" screen and it did not work at all (although can't blame that too much since it doesn't officialy support that). One thing I am legitimately upset about is with my configuration I have a vertical monitor, and it does not work well at all. Despite fitting the weight/size specifications it will not hold it above the desk as the monitor tilts down until it hits the closest surface. The only workaround I've found is to have it rest directly on the desk which isn't ideal.

I bought this back in Nov 2020 at full price. It's fine. It lacks the adjustability of the better units, but once you get it dialed in, it's stable enough. The laptop tray is probably the weakest point. I wouldn't want to type on it for the 8 hours a day, but if you are using an external keyboard and mouse and only occasionally typing on the laptop keyboard this is perfect for home office use.

I have this. And for the price, it's ok for smaller monitors. It won't hold my 24" monitor vertically. The weight would tilt the monitor down. So I have the monitor resting on the desk. Not much in term of adjustments either.

I also bought this last time it came up, and it works quite well for my needs. It holds my 32" LG monitor and laptop with zero issues. I also bought this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...UTF8&psc=1 last time it was on sale and connected it to the arm that holds the laptop stand. All in all a great little stand.
