The huge negative for me is that the arms bend out far beyond the rear profile of the desk. Really makes it annoying now that I can't push my desk up against the wall, requiring a gap of 7-8 inches! The previous stands that came with the monitors were perfectly vertical against the back of the desk while the monitor faces are about the same distance from my eyes.
So for my use case, it seems I lose more than I gain by using these. This is on me for not doing research ahead of time. Time will tell, but right now the rear overhang is bothersome.

with any articulating arm design you will probably have some issues needing clearance behind desk - i happen to mount it off center so the arm is almost fully extended - this allows desk to sit closer to wall but less range of motion for the monitor - my desk is 25 inch shallow and clearance from wall is anywhere from 2-4 inches depending on how far back I want the screen - for my use case I don't have to move monitor around much so once position dialed in it's good
2 separate single arm articulating mounts would give more versatility but the single arm mount you really gotta tighten the bolt a lot more as the smaller mount has less surface area on the desk - i found mine shifted more easily when moving the monitor around - the dual mount doesn't have this issue
the mounts with pole in center may afford less clearance issues but adjusting it is probably a PIA
Just curious how much you paid for the single mounts. I have dual mounts and want to switch to a pair of singles

Thanks, was going to buy but not anymore. I like to keep my desk right next to the wall

Any recommendations?
Like $28 so not much more for the dual. Same brand
I would advise no, especially bc of the glass top.
According to the reviews, yes as long as you don't crank it down too hard. I'm about to find out soon.
