You'll definitely get better CPU performance but will be stuck with Intel Iris Xe 96EU graphics which is significantly slower than the RDNA 2 based Raseon 680M graphics. On top of that, in this one, you can add an external GPU using the USB4 port whereas the other model you've referred, doesn't even have a USB4/Thunderbolt 4 port. Check the detailed specification. So, there is no normal way of adding any thunderbolt accessories or external GPU unless you want to go with some DIY methods of using M.2 to PCIe X16 converter, separate PSU to power the GPU and loosing the capability of using any PCIe SSD.

Note: Although the USB4 port is mentioned to be 20Gbps one, it is actually a full 40 Gbps Port and has been tested with external GPU docks. YouTuber ETA Prime has already tested this model.

Ecosystem that charges exorbitant money for extra memory/storage and does not allow users to upgrade those on their own, okay!

wrong again.
i never said THIS unit have that port. I am saying USB-C can go much higher, up to 240W. If you read my post, I clearly say you need both the correct charger and receiver.
Not using any normal standard which is known as Power Delivery 3.0 and maxes out to 100W. You did not understand the difference. There are 120W (Dell), 135-145W (Lenovo) for laptops and even a 200W for Mobiles from some Chinese manufacturers like Vivo, Xiaomi, Oppo but all those are highly propriertary technology and only works with that exact Charger, Cable and the device. They can't be used with any devices using standard USB-C Power Delivery protocol.
The 240W standard you are talking about is USB-C 2.1 and that is just in specification standard now and there will be some time for any devices to show up with that. You probably snooped through some headlines but didn't bother to check what is written inside.

just remember not to go with the cheapest apple products (base models)
that new mac mini with 8GB base is tragic. will lead to early solid state failure and bc apple uses shit solid state drives on the base models (256GB versions have tragic TBW) BC of the 8GB ram.. the RAM SWAP will destroy (destroy meaning wear it down very very fast) the low TBW on their solid state chips.

there is a lot of stuff people don't understand about the "cheap valued" apple models. ignorance is bliss. better spend $1200 for that 16GB ram and 512GB ssd. have fun
I truly think the Mac mini m2 pro is the one

Faster than current Mac Studio m1 max is pretty impressive

M2 max and ultra releases later on will be amazing but that level I don't need

5 years lines up to 8th Gen Intel. All you probably need to do is turn tpm on in your motherboard. Most tpm from that generation isn't on by default. If it's an 8th Gen I tel it supports windows 11 and if it truly won't do windows 11 it's the motherboard. Go check your tpm settings in your bios.
It's on the list the put out as not supported.. I think what I have fell short of tpm being put as a standard on motherboard

I agree completely but the comment was made to start a debate. He's coming to a deal that has nothing to do with Mac and leaving a comment for the sole purpose of getting a reaction. It's the same kind of people who went on the mac mini edu deal and did the same thing or who constantly troll switch deals or digital movie deals.

SD is really no different than Reddit by now. It's best to avoid comments and make your own decision Smilie
I had a get off my lawn moment😅
but didn't think it would have triggered so many. Some commenters just love to jump on the anti Apple bandwagon

Just a guy getting old in tech, like the movie falling down, had a moment 😂

Sorry guys, I'll do better next time and just go to therapy instead

Now I am regret ordering directly from beelink. During the ordering, there is no mention of order delay until Feb 1st. But when I visit the website, the front page state Chinese New Year delay. And there is no information about cancelling the order.

Haha. Well you sure were right about it triggering people. I gave up on android after I had a Pixel 3 direct from Google that bricked when they did an auto update overnight. It was conveniently a month after my 2 year warranty was up so Google suggested I buy a new phone. Offered no help at all to even send a refurbished phone to replace. That month I switched 3 lines off Google Fi, sold 3 Pixel phones, 3 tablets and several home automated devices and switched them all to Apple. Haven't had any issues yet.

You can actually install win11 on your old PC by bypassing the security/system checks. Search YouTube, there are plenty of tutorials.
But Microsoft has repeatedly said if you bypass and a check is performed no updates will be able to be installed. I wouldn't trust the process at this point if your machine is not "eligible".

I bought the Pixel 6 Pro during release from Tmo

Then the articles started flowing in with hundreds of bugs and the one that took me out was slow charging,,,, where it may be hardware vs a software fix

I never opened the box, sent that sht back to Tmo and went to bestbuy and got on that iPhone 13 promo and just never looking back

That was my get off my lawn moment with Android from a guy who had the first 4g htc phone on Sprint ( don't let me go on about my Sprint rant Smilie …

Tech can be fun to tinker but some things just get old and you rather go with simplicity and performance, some of you guys are younger so you just haven't gone through it enough times or haven't collected enough "tech debt" to understand yet

Home wifi : eero pro
Home PC: soon to me Mac Mini pro
Monitors: Dell Ultrasharp
Phone: iOS iPhone
Tablet: IOS iPad
Watch: Apple Watch
Plugs and switches: Kasa brand
Printer: Brother all-in-one ( one slick deal away from that being color laser)
Refrigerator: LG
Dishwasher: LG or Kitchen-aid
Stove: Frigidaire Induction ( when you wipe up any spills on the stove you cooked on with a paper towel, hard to go back to any other type of stove, induction is the way)
Robot vac: Roborock
Blender: Vitamix 5000
Mixer: Kitchen Aid
TV: LG
Game console: PS4

So far those are a few of the brands, just turns on and works aaaand stays working for years

Thanks again to all you for coming to my Ted Talk

did they come out with fixes for hackintosh? BT/Wifi and such? kinda neat to have a 700 mac mini
not entirely sure, my limited experience with Hackintosh is upgrading a 2014 mbp to Ventura. Everything works with no issues

Wish this had a 2nd M.2 instead of SATA.
Yeah, and the SATA expansion slot is in an odd spot. The drive appears to cover an exhaust fan that says "do not block". Beelink responded on a youtube video and said it was fine. I put a SATA drive in and didn't trust it. so instead dropped in a new 2 tb NVME and reinstalled windows. If you're curious the 500gb drive it comes with is a Kingston NV2 4.0 (which is incidentally the same 2 tb drive I replaced it with)

Their website is jank. Originally I ordered direct from them, after putting in CC info and clicking purchase it got hung up...ended up ordering like 10 computers at once. If you made a Beelink account you should be able to go into your orders and hit cancel...worked for my 10 mistakes.

people are mostly in denial on these tech like forums i see this a lot on reddit too. linux doesnt even have google drive, microsoft office, adobe programs, etc of course 99.9% of normal people wouldnt touch it if windows/mac were available
There are Linux alternatives for those Windows programs you mentioned and best of all, they're free and open source. LibreOffice replaces Microsoft Office and is just as good. As for Adobe programs, they pose a security risk and are useless in my opinion.

How is this compared with old deal (Nov 2022) Minis Forum for $130 less with 6900H, but without SSD and memory?
