Deal History includes data from multiple reputable stores, such as Best Buy, Target, and Walmart. The lowest price among stores for a given day is selected as the "Sale Price".
Sale Price does not include sale prices at Amazon unless a deal was posted by a community member.
Keep in mind if you're patient the better and higher output SPL 100 often goes on sale for $240 to $250 about twice a year. Unfortunately you just missed the sale around Black Friday but it's common to see it happen again between April and July
Honestly this won't really add a lot off oomph to your experience. For proper subwoofers, look into Monoprice once's that start around $500. These will really just be useless at what they do.
the 2 neighbors guys next door, didnt know lil momma bear had just arrived after driving 6 hours, she came running over due to my monolith.
I bought a pair of these for a similar price a couple years ago. They were relatively weak and didn't go very low at all. I ended up selling them both and going with a pair of svs subs. If you buy, just know they really aren't all that impressive other than price.
I have one 12SWi - which is a little bit "boomy" (with lots of vibration) and have seen lots of reviews to that degree. I have to lower the dial on the back down below 1/4 volume, and also in the Denon Audyssey is -7.0 decibals.
How does the 100SW compare in that regard? I want to replace an old onkyo 290watt 10" sub for my 2nd sub, but not sure if this is a meaningful upgrade or if I will face the same challenges.

Quite honestly, all of these lower end subs are tradeoffs and hard to recommend unless you are on an exteme budget.
I'm all DIY for quality subs, but I certainly can't build a quality sub with plate amp for under $300-500 dollars. Hell, I can barely get a 300W plate amp for the cost of this completed unit. There's plenty of stuff from SVS/HSU that are good quality subs. Dayton and Monoprice have some good stuff as well.
If you are truly on a budget, I'd look at the Dayton premade 12" subs. I use Dayton drivers in most of my DIY builds, and they are great for the money. The lower end Klipsch stuff does not sound good to me.
Also, I know people like 2 subs but I'd start with 1 higher quality subwoofer (Monolith, Dayton Reference or Ultimax, SVS, REL etc) and add a 2nd later if absolutely necessary. I got this sub/PR combo when it was 599 to replace 2 Klipsch subs, it's astonishing how much better (clearer, deeper, louder, not boomy) this thing is than the 2x Klipsch. ( https://www.parts-express.com/Pow...quantity=1 ). At 599 it was a steal, at the current price still a great subwoofer with some work required by you. If DIY isn't your thing, I'd wait for a deal on a Monolith and sell the pair of subwoofers you have.

Thanks for the helpful reply. I have been a monoprice customer for almost 20 years, love them. I do have some M-10 deal alerts set, but I have a feeling I'll be waiting a long time. I also set one for SPL-100, although I know you don't like Klipsch. I certainly am not a huge fan of the 12SWi that I got a few years ago, even at $220. I have to use the denon compression settings so it doesn't shake the walls to wake my kid up. I'm willing to spend $450/sub if I have to, but I'm not spending 500-650. not in the cards.

Might want to keep an alert for a deal like this considering your price range. Either way, good luck and hopefully you find something you are happy with.
I don't have a personal problem with Klipsh, they are going the same way most of the audio/speaker world has gone; building low quality speakers and slapping their name on it to sell them. Polk does the exact same thing.

Good look! The 2000 series is currently 499 with a 5% godual code which makes them 475 each. That seems like a good deal right? The listed older deal you posted has them at 599.

It looks very respectable, though I have not heard it. 19HZ F3 is incredible on a sub/box that size, which tells me they have correctly setup the DSP.
- 500W RMS (1100 peak) is very good for the price
- 51lbs is decent. Sub driver is probably 20ish lbs, so the cabinet is sturdy substantial (it should be).
- 19hz F3 is punching above it's price class
- veneering looks pretty good
- 5 year warranty is nice. Covers you if the plate amp dies a few years in
I would take 1 of those over 2x Klipsch any day. If you have nulls in your room, work with placement.
That's a great deal, it's hard to recommend any DIY solution that would compete with that, at that price. It used to be DIY could save you a few bucks, but supply chain and inflation have really made it tough. Best I could do that would be comprable (High quality 12 inch driver, box, 500W DSP Plate amp) would be about 600 bucks without finishing. Even then, getting that DIY setup to a 19hz F3 might be challenging even with DSP.

I have a decently serious HT and have had a bunch of Klipsch subs. The price is attractive but, skip them and go straight to Monolith. 100% worth the extra money.

That's the one. On the surface it seems like a no brainer since it is 500w versus 300w for the PB-1000 and they are currently the same price. That being said, I really do not need to shake the house 95% of the time. $399 is gone on the PB-1000, so since they are both $499, why wouldn't I get the better sub and just lower the volume?
How does SVS compare to the monolith? I assume they are similar in quality? DIY is not in the cards for me, I already have like 50 open house projects.

How does the 100SW compare in that regard? I want to replace an old onkyo 290watt 10" sub for my 2nd sub, but not sure if this is a meaningful upgrade or if I will face the same challenges.
