So you should use the cheapest download version that has the forms that you need. The only thing that right now I'm aware of is TT has a crypto import feature on the ONLINE ONLY, I've confirmed by looking at forum posts that mention this... For me, that's resolved with Taxbit since it seems that's free and sorts through unlimited transactions regardless. So I can generate forms then import them into any software, so desktop works for me in my use case.
