Costco has the Apple Studio Display on sale for $1299. This is $200 off the regular Costco price and $300 off Apple's regular price. Lowest price I've seen thus far.

I can't tell based on the website if this is a member-only price.

It not just Sheepleism though, if you want the retina dpi (and it do look good), and no scaling wonkyness, you basically have this or the LG Ultrafines, which are in the same price range.

But yes, it costs a penny.
We're they 5K? No they weren't.
Thanks for the insightful opinion on Mac gaming monitors

This monitor also supports Thunderbolt. Combined with the vid cam, speakers, 5k, Apple integration… you get what you pay for.

For most ppl, a Dell 4k with USB-C is probably fine

I successfully had Best Buy price match Costco via chat this morning. I know Costco has better return policy but Best Buy has 5% rewards on their credit card. So that gives me $65 in Best Buy rewards dollars as well. I also own the Alienware OLED monitor and there is no fair comparison between these two. People who buy this monitor don't care about refresh rates or gaming. And for a 5k monitor the LG is pretty close to this price and not as nice a monitor.
Very true on Best Buy 5%, although if you have Costco Executive membership and also use their credit card, I think you get 4% back and with the 90 day return policy.

I think it does have the 90 day return policy. It states that at the bottom right of the page - right?
It looks like it; I don't know why you got downvoted.

This is from my chat with a Costco rep:
"Alright, I spoke with my team to get some clarification on the matter and they have confirmed that since it does have a green check next to the 90 Day writing under the warranties and services portion of the page, this item does fall under that policy."

Imagine not having any idea what you're speaking about……… My 10 year Apple LED screen looks new as the day I bought it.

Oled would have already loss significantly life within that time and much less brighter.
Agree. People who can't afford it just want to be critical. I own both this and the Mac studio and they blow away the competition. Yes, it isn't cheap but it works beautifully. You get what you pay for.

Nobody should be buying this when a mac mini pro and non pro is released already and can be used with a monitor of your choice. This is one of the most redundant product in their mac lineup.

This is the best monitor out there at this price

I'm programmer (30+ years now), working on 2 x 24 inch 1920 x 1200 - that's the best setup I figured for myself so far. This retina thing is crap - you can endlessly increase display resolutions and it still looks blurry. Hate it!
I would prefer bigger size display over higher resolution.

You have no idea what you are talking about Android boy . If you want to pick at something, at least research and have a bit of proper knowledge

I spoke with a member assistant at Costco and he verified and told that this monitor can be returned at anytime. This does not have the 90 day return limit. Again please do your homework before buying. Worth calling and checking with Costco Customer Support.

From what I think the 90 days is the standard warranty Apple provides that's mentioned on the Costco website. Not technically 90 day return limit from Costco

Weird. I literally asked them if it could be returned past 90 days and they said no.

Imagine paying $1300 for a non OLED monitor...
Imagine paying $1300 (LG C2) for a screen that has 104 PPI. No amount of OLED blackness will make up for blurry text. 219 PPI > 104 PPI by all measurable metrics for reading text.

Better yet, just got a Best Buy price match and got $65 in Best Buy rewards.

How did you get them to price match? I've talked to a phone rep and store manager and both said no the price is too low.

I had purchased these monitors about 5 months ago and was curious if I would be able to get a price match. The rep I spoke with said they were unable to match and suggested that I return and repurchase. He then called me back and said upon further investigation, these monitors fall under the Costco 90 day return policy and were unable to be returned past 90 days. Other computer monitors on their site do not have the restriction, so it may just be because its an Apple product.

Still can't believe you have to choose vesa or stand and not both, and vesa option not on sale.
