Great deal. Lutron has a new Diva Caseta switch that has a more traditional design and support for hard-wired 3-way configurations. Something to be aware of before you drop a ton of money outfitting a whole house.

Installing one of these kits along with replacing every switch with one in a 4000 Sq/ft remodel right now!
Yeah my house is about that size, just out of curiosity how many switches are you using. I was buying up brass light switch and wall plates the other day to change out from the cheap plastic ones and began to realize just how many of those damn things I needed.

Dang slickdeals, I didn't plan to spend $100 today but had to get 2.

Looks like the pico remote and pico audio remote are the same thing except for the labeling on the device itself.

The pico audio remote is $40 by it self, so I ended up buying two of these kit because I need to Sonos remote.

I already have a Hue hub and a Smart Things hub and just spun up Home Assistance (again, no more webcore).

Can I get this to control my Sonos? That's all I really want. A good remote for my Sonos speakers.

I was considering the Ikea Tradfri hub with the SYMFONISK sound remote.

These are wonderful. Be aware Lutron just released a rocker style switch that has the look at feel of a switch and supports 3 way hardwired switches. On this style you will need a smart switch plus pico remote for 3 way; on the new style you buy the smart switch and use the hardwired switch already installed. Look for the Diva (dimmer) and Claro (non-dimmer) Lutron Caseta Smart Switch.

*See Honey Badger's post above. I said the same thing without realizing it*

This is the old switch, not the new rocker switch that was just released. The new rocker switch is better in some ways--i believe you can use your existing 3-way dumb light switch with the new Lutron switch and it'll work. Beats the old method of installing a Pico remote in place of the dumb 3-way switch. You can save money that way.

Grabbed to compliment my zwave switches.

No need for neutral, if I recall, which is great.
Is it a generic zwave switch? Can I add it directly to my SmartThings hub?

Caseta is not zwave. They have their own protocol, they aren't zwave.

For zwave I like homeseer and zooz.

There is an integration with Sonos from Lutron, but it's pretty weak. It was done in the early days before Alexa or Google Home was a staple in the smart home market and they never really improved it. I just use my Alexa to create Routines to control the Lutron lighting scenes and sonos playlist with a single command.

Is the new hub the same? I mostly wanted this for the hub and option.

I think it is.

Will this support matter? I'm very hesitant to purchase any non-matter supporting smart home devices going forward
Lutron is a Matter member, but they've been hesitant to disclose if they will actually deploy the standard. I believe the Caseta system could be updated OTA to support. To be fair, the system itself is exceptional.

Yep. It requires telnet since it's all local control, so there will never be a cloud integration like smartthings

Thanks for the reply. My issue is when you ask Alexa to play something and it's too loud, I have to yell at Alexa multiple times to "Turn Volume Down."

Sometimes it's just nice to have a physical remote.
