For those worried about expiration dates on these or medication in many cases:

https://www.health.harvard.edu/st...n-anything

tl;dr The expiration date doesn't really indicate a point at which the medication is no longer effective or has become unsafe to use.
Their generic Zyrtec and Allegra allergy medicine is also on sale:

Ignore expiration date...marketing scam. Product is still good.

Is this online only? I just bought in store full price. Also note most expired Nov 2023. Found one that expired Feb 2024.

Waiting for the Kirkland generic Flonase nasal spray to go on sale. I'm down to my last bottle that I bought 2-3 years ago, spring is coming.
If you have health insurance, many plans cover fluticasone as generic and you might be able to get it for $0 with a prescription. Sadly mine is like $5+/bottle so, yeah, I buy OTC when it's on a deal.

Anecdotal, but my sister says it's just as good for her. I've used loratadine(AllerClear) before and felt it did the trick, pretty quickly even (I was having an allergic reaction to something I came in contact with an hour before and was away from home and it started taking effect within 15 minutes, luckily) so when I am close to running out of my AllerTec I'll probably pick this up.

I should say I don't really use allergy meds regularly(probably the longest I've used it daily was for about a week when I had COVID and a persistent cough due to a nasal drip) unless I'm dealing with something chronic, or planning to visit a home with pets for more than a half hour, so maybe that's why they've worked well for me

if you have allergies, intolerances or auto immune issues keep in mind this contains lactose and pre-geletanized starch which is usually a gluten source, unless otherwise listed, and in that case would be labeled as pre-geletanized maize starch, or another.

Lactose being as the first ingredient/filler, it can surprisingly cause a reaction in many people and be overlooked. sometimes when it's just an anti caking agent it'll be one of the last and less reactive.

this is true for most tablets. gels are usually clean. I've only found one tablet of any allergy med, and it's the allgera varient. Ohm Non-Drowsy Fexofenadine Antihistamine was the only version i've found that was non-gel. Not a deal, just a tid bit for anyone who is experiencing symptoms and have overlooked their allergy {or even other meds, like levothyroxine, etc} and are getting brain fog/fatigue symptoms, etc.

and to those who are saying "such a small dose shouldn't do that" Yes, an allergy pill can cause an allergic/immune reaction, even with such small dosages, even worse if it's an immune response from an auto immune disorder.

this will be a pointless post for a lot of people.

These works for my allergies. These are 10mg and one pill per day. I split it into two and take the half in the morning and the other half afternoon. I found out this method helps to cover the full day better. Try this method if you take one early in the morning and it doesn't last for you towards the end of the day.

These have always been marked gluten free when I bought them.

Nasonex is my go to for nasal spray. They just recently moved it from Rx to OTC last year and it was such a godsend for allergy season. Amazon has it on sale now!

Considering these will be on coupon sale in store starting from Feb 1, how does the online prices compare to in store store ones with coupons? Better to buy in store or online?

Yeah, I was at Costco the other day getting some stuff and when I got to the pharmacy section to pick one up I did not see the discount. I realized that the deal starts Feb 1st to Feb 26. Will come back before end of Feb to pickup a pack. Still have about half a bottle in my last remaining one.

Been using these Kirkland generic brand spray and pills for at least about a decade now, works just as well as Flonase and Claritin. Much cheaper and a pack usually lasts me 2-3 years, right around the time it's about to expire.
