For those looking for more info on the video card sucking and the video card is the heart of any good gaming laptop.

The new laptops with Intel 13th Generation CPU and RTX 4000 series GPUs are starting to hit the market now though spring which means all the current stock will be dropping in price. Microcenter shows several available on February 20th. If you are not in a hurry and can wait just a few more weeks, there will be a lot of good deals available on 3050, 3060 and 3070 laptops.

If you do buy this laptop, check out the extended warranty price from Lenovo. Unlike Dell or HP, I seen extended warranties from Lenovo for about $100 covering 3 years. Very affordable compared to the other brands.

Maybe that is the pure cost of the GPU itself, but we consumers can't find any 3060 laptops that are only 10% more expensive than 3050ti bc they also have higher mark up and higher tier cpu a lot of time.

Agreed and the 56% slower claim people keep throwing out is at ultra settings. In the same article it says the difference is as low as 26% at lower settings which most people would not even notice a difference. Also no accounting for DLSS either. People see one stat out of context and latch onto it. The 3050 Ti (particularly this one) is a very capable GPU nearly matching a RTX 2060 and exceeding it in games using less video memory and/or DLSS.

Absolutely. I bought this BF from Walmart. Did up the RAM to 32gb. Getting 120 on Doom Eternal with Ultra Nightmare settings on the laptop screen. Bought a 32" 1440p HP 165hz monitor and am getting 90-144 fps on 1440p medium settings. Love mine.

yep. I had bought a 3060 5i pro then I snagged one of these for 360 at Walmart (400 but got 10% off for dented box) so 382 out the door. it played the games I actually wanted to play perfectly fine at 4/10th the cost of the 3060 model.

to me, I returned 3060, because if I out grow this, 40 series will be cheaper by then in a few years.

I will say toss in a 8gb stick of ram, you will get a 25% increase in cpu perf. toss in a matching set of ram, I got a 33% boost to cpu perf. (another guy tossed a mismatched set and got 25 gain) I did a matching set and got a 33 gain.

either way, 20 bucks for 1 stick or 40 for 2. its worth it. gained 20% fps in cpu intensive games (80 to 100fps with 8gb of ram) and went to 100-120 with 16gb ram. the w11 eats 4.5gb of ram by itself. leaving only 3gb

I posted after you, same thing. I was getting 80-100fps with lower lows, tossed a 16gb set and now im 100-120 in same places as 80-100 and has way higher 1% lows.

I like games... I like emulators.. I like sea of thieves.. its playing everything perfectly fine? the screen brightness is perfectly fine.

at 600s I would rather buy another 3060 laptop, but if you get it at a clearance 200-400 dollar price. this all day. read above I returned my 3060 unit because this 3050ti did everything I was going to do with. my 3060 unit just fine
