If anyone still in a Fi promo does place an order, post back here and share what happens in the Billing -> Fi Savings page.
right, so i just did this. my fold 4 service period ends on 16feb and i didn't want to miss this deal. i just ordered an s23 ultra w/ trading-in a cracked screen s20 fe 5g. stuff looks good so far.

i do have to maintain google fi service for 120 more days, but that's OK. another sim card to throw on the "never touch again" pile.

my fi savings page shows both promos:
- 1000 off fold 4, purchased on oct 12
- 600 off s23 ultra, purchased on feb 02

so far seems decent. let's see what happens when i actually receive the new phone. hopefully we'll get this before my plan runs out so i can activate at the optimal moment.

I think it does but I'm not 100% sure, does the Flexible plan, $20/month, qualify for this offer? Or is one of the unlimited plans required?
any plan will qualify. the $20/mo plan will work just as well as the unlimited.

I'd be a brand new Fi customer, trade in offer for my S21 Ultra is $400, want credit card refund but with SIM purchase looks like it would be Fi account credit. Thoughts?

It says:

Here's how you'll get credit
Credit card refund
If you buy a new phone and pay in full today

OR

Fi credit
If you finance a phone or order a Google Fi SIM

I really don't need this phone. But for the price it's super tempting.

So a question for you gurus out there... I am currently alone with Fi with a S22 that my 120 days is complete tomorrow. I was planning on bringing my wife's phone from MetroPCS and my daughter's from Tracfone to Fi to make a group plan. I like the S22 but didn't realize when I bought it just how small it would feel compared to my old LG V35 that I came from. Is there a way to leverage bringing on two new lines to get myself an S23U? Or should I wait on bringing them over until the trade in value get better? Thanks for any advice!

Why it bothers Fi whether I use the device or resell? They are not even the manufacturer of this phone.
Contact Fi support with these questions please.

128GB storage with no microSD slot makes this phone complete trash. What good is a 50MP camera when 4K video consumes around 500MB per minute...

Wait until the weekend, and you should then be able to just do an upgrade on your S22 to S23 without any fancy footwork.

I'm an existing Fi customer, and I have the offer in my Fi app. Shows $299 for an S23 for me.

According to Google, it IS possible to port GV to Fi, as long as it's a personal account:

i think theyre upgrading you to 256gb for free on this deal. But I hear you. Its purely economical, they want people to pay hundreds more to get more internal storage when the incremental cost to them is like $5 maybe.
