Fi shows this for me, I should wait for a couple more days and then I can take out the Fi sim and use my own sim, right?

On the Fi web site, click on Billing-->Fi Savings-->In Progress. The countdown usually shows up the day after activation. But the other entries are there once you placed your order.

I bought a base S23, so only $500 off, and I ordered as an active Fi member so there's no entry for Porting In a number to Fi.
Thank you! I already see it today.

Ordered S23U cream on 2/16. Initial delivery date Feb 24 - March 13. Then Mar 1 - 3. The initial charge fell off yesterday. The card just got charged today, but the delivery date changes to Mar 2 -6. Not sure if it shipping any time soon or not. Just got my Samsung OEM S23U cases today.
Prepared to ship. Delivery estimate Mar 1 - 3.

Is it all right if I activate the Hello Mobile sim in the Google Fi unlocked S23U first? Will Fi be able to see if I activate another service on the phone they sent me? After everything arrived, realised that all of my extra phones are carrier locked so I have no way to activate this sim card.

Tried looking through the thread and didn't see anything like this addressed. Just wanna make sure I don't mess with the promo.
Technically they shouldn't be able to see that if you don't install the FI app but still I say it's risky to not do the first activation with FI.

Yes, wait for the counter to go down by 1 and then you should be good.

For the life of me, I couldn't find/see the countdown on the Fi app (on my S22, Pixel 7, and S23). I looked under Billing, scroll up/down, saw the bills, etc but not the Fi Savings tab that people say it's there in the app. So I always use the Fi web site. Could you tell me where to find it in the app, or post a screenshot of it? Thanks.
It's under Billing, after biils, there is a section for FI savings. May be you have an older version of the app and need to update?

I received my S23U yesterday. Ported my wife's GV in ($3 charged) and it's done within mins. Now Fi savings shows the 120 days. I guess it's now safe to put my T-Mobile sim.

Did you sell locally or online? Was yours 256gb?
Sold my 512gb on Facebook marketplace for $720 cash. e bay is roughly a 15 percent commission between PayPal and fees and Swappa is like $40 plus PayPal fees. with both generally you have also pay shipping and insurance. would effectively eat $100 of profit at the end of the day.

With high dollar phones i always prefer to get the cash in hand at a police station parking lot versus potentially dealing with a charge back with online sales later. Phones seem to attract a lot of scammers.

Had a bunch of lowball offers and requests to ship which I declined. Perhaps i could have gotten an extra $50-100 but at some point it's not worth the frustration.

If i couldn't have sold the s22 for roughly the same cost i would have returned the s23 ultra.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree, less hassle and if I can get cash in hand, it'd be a lot easier. How long was it listed until yours got sold? I'm surprised I got some messages already about the phone.

I downloaded the Fi app yesterday to the S23. So it shouldn't be an older version. It's strange that I couldn't see it on any of Fi phones/app.

About a week to two weeks. I'm not located in a big city so that probably had something to do with it. Good luck with your sale !

Shipped, awaiting pickup by UPS. Still says delivery on Mar 1 - Mar 3. I guess maybe because it's already the weekend.

Is there any way i can change to esim without affecting promo?? I want to keep fi as secondary esim for business line.
Looking for same advice. I made the "mistake" of porting/activating my existing Fi service without removing the physical Sim. Tried a couple of times to add the Google eSim and activate the Fi service on it with the physical Sim removed and had no luck. At this point, I set a reminder 120 days from now to attempt this once the promo terms are fulfilled.

I googled around and looks like Samsung doesn't support esim with Google Fi yet.
