Just to confirm, do I need to leave Fi SIM in new S23 for 24 hours after number transfer is successful? or is that a myth?
I'd wait until the counter shows 119 or less. You can do it earlier to see if it's a myth.

Just wanting to pop in my Visible SIM asap.

I added my TMo eSIM and turn off the Fi Sim before 24 hours. My countdown is still going.

Sigh...the dreaded "Severe weather conditions have delayed delivery" message from UPS. Maybe if you hadn't shipped my phone from Illinois to California when Mtn View is 60 minutes away from me...

edit..and yes I suspect there isn't a distribution center in Mtn View despite Google being HQed there.

When you turn on and activate it through Fi app, it will automatically detect your number if you use your Fi Google account to login to the app. It will show the number before you proceed to activate in the new device
Thank you!

So FedEx just reported a delivery exception (damaged) on my phone and automatically returned it to GoogleFi…now GoogleFi wants to issue me a refund but I want the phone. They told me to place another order (and promo is dead). Really ridiculous, I ordered 2/3 and still haven't received the phone worst yet, now I won't even get the phone at the promo rate??? Really frustrating
that is really a sad story. My fedex status is changed several times for no delivery date pending but finally got delivered last night. I think some sneaky guy in fed knows what is it and try to take it away. sry to hear your story, I think you can do nothing just move on (google can not get same deal now from samsung since pre sale is gone).

That just means the deal has ended for the special at this time. They most likely will have it again in the future just not now for new lines being added.
I hope so too because the bill credits promo has an expiry date of March 31st

Looks like Fi changed the the S23 & Pixel 7 promos to bill credits for 24 months. The deals were good while they lasted.
RIP Fi deals.
See post # 3691.
This was coming, no surprise.

I have 5 S23's, my 2 S23U have started started the count down, but my 3 kids S23+ have not. Called FI support twice, both times they said don't worry, their system see's all phones activated. Any suggestions? FI's system is iffy.

I tried to port a newly purchased $6 Tello esim. But I am getting the following error "Couldn't transfer your number - The info you entered didn't match what's on file with your previous provider."

I gave the correct phone number and account number and tried both 0000 and 000000. But I still get the same error.

Tried almost 10 times now. Will try tomorrow again. Any suggestions pls.

Thanks.
I had the same issue. go into your acct setting and set a new pin. something original like 1234. that worked perfect for me. Also used tello.

Anyway to keep 2 phones as a new user? I ordered 2 phones, each are on a separate gmail account but the billing is the same name/address. I currently have successfully activated one phone (port in) and countdown has started. Can I just activate the other phone (port in) under the other gmail account and be good or will it recognize it's the same billing name and address? What's the best way to go about this?

So Technically after Fi activation and took out the Fi SIM, the phone can be given to anyone to use?
