Is anyone's S23U running kinda hot? Mine started getting warm just from downloading apps. I just did a 2 minute video call, and I can feel the heat. I'm a bit worried mine might be defective. I have it in dark mode, and have blue-tooth and the "nearby device scanner" off.
Just like any computer when setting it up it'll get hot then settle down. It'll be fine after it is setup and has time to index everything too.

I have signed up for 4 line with 3 phone. 2 phone and one sim arrived. One phone delay shipping by 3rd April. Question on Billing. If I activate 3 line now. Do they bill 3 line as per 3 line cost $25 plus tax for each. Or they do prorated $20 plus tax.

For anyone buying Hello Mobile numbers; keep in mind there's a port lock you'll have to ask support to remove (prevents easy or unauthorized port out). They'll probably ask you to stay and ask why you're leaving. Only took 10 minutes but it is a necessary step. Try and complete it before the phone arrives or at least unlock it before you get your phone.

I got my s23u yesterday, having ordered on Feb 13th. I like the new camera bezels and form of the sides, it's a little easier to hold the phone without a case.

Here we go with the BS. My trade in package has mysteriously gone missing from USPS. It's been stuck on "package accepted" for 4 days now. It was supposed to have been delivered already. SMH

Question:

Is it safe to sell the phone after the 120 day count down started?

Is there a way to port without opening the box?
You can't. You have to open the box, install/run the Fi app to activate the pre-installed SIM and port-in.

FWIW, USPS tracking has been very screwy lately. I mailed a Pixel 7 on Monday, tracking showed it was accepted and arrived at the regional center in Kansas City that night but not updated after that. Thursday morning, it shows arriving in NC and was out for delivery.

My trade-in package to Fi was out for delivery on Monday 2/27 and finally shows Delivered on 3/2, while it fact the warehouse received it on 2/28 and credited on 3/1.

Well mine arrived in the town nearby this morning around 5am. We'll see if it makes it out for delivery today..not holding my breath.

I know there has been several posts about screen protectors..and AMFilm was mentioned/recommended several times..does the termpered glass versions of screen protectors really make a huge difference?

Some people whose packages arrived at that local P.O. on Sat got messages that said "Unable to delivered because the business was closed on weekends". One would think that with the number of packages that had been delivered there the local P.O. would know that they're closed on weekends and not try to make a delivery on weekends.
Mine is via UPS and the San Pablo location is notorious for showing items as being out for delivery (and or on truck) and then not delivering for a few days.

Sorry. I thought you were talking about your trade-in package to Fi because your post was after a post from another poster about trade-in package. My mistake.

I have 5 S23's, my 2 S23U have started started the count down, but my 3 kids S23+ have not. Called FI support twice, both times they said don't worry, their system see's all phones activated. Any suggestions? FI's system is iffy.
Did the promo count down timer ever start with the phones that didn't indicate they were activated? It's been about a whole week now, and my two phones have still not said they were activated despite actually activating them on the initial boot up. I chatted with google (for each of the phones) and they said "not to worry about it" but my countdown timer hasn't started for any of them.

Does anyone know how to manually trigger the "Activation" even though the phones have already been activated so the 120 days countdown timer can start?

I have activated my U23 with Google fi sim two days ago.
Can I remove fi sim and put my total Verizon sim now?
Do I have to reset phone after putting my sim?
Do I have to delete fi app?
Or just putting new sim is fine?
