He said I'd gladly do this for you but I need my job and I don't want to get fired over a couple hundred dollars . I completely agreed there . I said well can I speak to the GM you were talking to I don't want to get you in trouble .
GM came out and said so I assume the worker explained that we couldn't do it . I said he said he was looking for a reason to do it and with all due respect shouldn't u be looking for a reason not to do it .. he asked to borrow my phone and read through tiger directs entire legal policy at the very end it said apple products are non returnable .
He said this is why I can't price match it . It need to be returnable
I think this was a test. In my head I was like shit. But didn't not respond negatively I just read over the terms on tiger direct site
He said let me see something real quick . He pulled up the iPads and said I'm gonna price match it for you. He said I can't be on the fence . The policy is the policy I can't pick and choose. And it's a valid price and a valid store so I can't be the one deciding . I just follow policy.
I honestly think it was because I was polite and never argued . I think they could honestly say the no return policy(tiger direct) effects the price match policy with Best Buy

either way, i hope they recorded that call and his ass gets fired. i worked in a call center, and i can't imagine treating a customer that way regardless of the reason.
