Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

I think this was a test. In my head I was like shit. But didn't not respond negatively I just read over the terms on tiger direct site

He said let me see something real quick . He pulled up the iPads and said I'm gonna price match it for you. He said I can't be on the fence . The policy is the policy I can't pick and choose. And it's a valid price and a valid store so I can't be the one deciding . I just follow policy.

I honestly think it was because I was polite and never argued . I think they could honestly say the no return policy(tiger direct) effects the price match policy with Best Buy

Thanks! Ordered two. Price could be true considering there was speculation from Ming Ching Kuo that Apple is likely to release a foldable iPad next year. His predictions have mostly been accurate

I actually don't think this is a price error. We might see some more deals around. Apple didn't really have a great quarter and this could be beginning of some price wars we could see....expect prices to eventually go down closer to pre-pandemic levels.

I was told on the phone that TigerDirect originally posed the sale as from a 3rd party, then updated it to not be from a third party. And because they do not price match 3rd parties they will not do this one.

Just priced match 1 for me and 1 for my wife 2 different rep through chat. I went through chat first ai asked about what i want i typed price match then tiger direct for the company. Got me 109mins in line. Tried again and this time i typed TD for the company i want to price match with. Got in after 1 minute.

i tried to question what he meant, he hung up on me. my guess is that it was the "700 people" he mentioned who were "waiting on hold for the price match."

either way, i hope they recorded that call and his ass gets fired. i worked in a call center, and i can't imagine treating a customer that way regardless of the reason.
