Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

I was able to get price match thru chat around 2:45PM. Right around the time people were talking about memo and no more price matches. I was able to pickup the product from local store just now. I was told the price match amount would be refunded before the next billing cycle. Worst case I will return it. This is for the base model.

My first order I placed around noon ET, I got 2 email confirmations about 20 minutes apart.

I called the BB customer service number and got an agent who sounded like he was US-based. His excuse was they don't PM TD. I called again and got connected to the India call center. I was able to PM a blue 256 GB iPad and a pink 256 GB iPad on 2 separate orders for pickup at my local store next week. This was a few hours ago.

This. I got home from buying in store (shipping) and it said iPad was available in store. I ran back up there to see if they could switch the order . Gm couldn't so he called the fulfillment manager and he couldn't because the order was already accepted . He showed me where it was shipping from.

Gm also told me he got a call from corp and they were looking in to tiger direct price and they had To stop price matching . He said they've lost so much money on this . I asked if I would be ok with my purchase and he stated absolutely. He said once the orders been placed and accepted they will not go back and retroactively cancel an order .

Maybe that means in store order vs online but he was very confident. He once again showed me where the iPads were coming from and that it was accepted by that location and shipping

After an hour waiting for BB chat, it reads "All agents are busy right now Try again in a little while." Even when trying to start a new chat. So perhaps they stopped doing chats till this dies down? I was "next in line" twice in the same wait period.

Still on hold for the second time for over an hour at BB.
