Hi, I know you're new so it's ok but in general it's frowned upon to call or email about things like that because it alerts stores and staff and increases the likelihood of cancellation. Because of how much this deal blew up it doesn't really matter as they certainly know but just wanted to drop a friendly note about it.

This is the reply I got from BestBuy's representative -

"I have reviewed the product details on competitor website and see that the product is supplied by a third party warehouse at Tigerdirect. I'm sorry as per our price match policy, in order to be eligible for price match the product must be sold and shipped by competitor itself."

Exactly it's not mentioned anywhere in the TD site. I told the same to the rep and he said they can see it from their side on their internal system. It's clear that they made that sh*t up but I didn't want to argue with them, and disconnected the call

Ordered one (64 GB, Silver, Wi-Fi only) from TD. Let's see if it gets canceled. I was going to go for the Wi-Fi + Cellular version but there's no free shipping for that option. Having the cellular is nice but it's not necessary.

Update: just checked my order status on TD's website and it says:

Order Status: Reg Order Process - Credit Card Verification Done. Your order is in process at our warehouse.

I connected to BB chat hours ago and was told they couldn't match Tiger Direct, I tried to connect to a new chat but couldn't get through. I even used two browsers plus my phone at one point, but the chats were all jammed. Don't like doing this stuff over the phone, so I just ordered from Tiger Direct directly. Tiger Direct order says "Pending Review," what does this mean?

Yeah I mean these are very, very unlikely to ship bc of the time its been live (and now having been spread from SD to every site in the world) but the people who PM'd Best Buy early definitely have a shot if they haven't already picked them up.
