Can someone c9nvince me to get this instead of oasis? I have the older oasis 7" kindle now is 6.8" with warm light as well.
The only difference is the buttons, the 25 LEDs vs 17 and a $110 more.

U can wait for new oasis. I m doing the same. It is coming. Was supposed to come in Dec last yr but I guess they didn't want competition with scribe.

Ad-free, 2 years of some sort of extra warranty, and I like the case (though it is already showing signs of wear in the spine in less than a year). I bought it just for the ad-free part (during a sale when the price difference was comparatively small), and I'd say it was a good choice.

Is the storage something to consider? 8gb vs 16gb? I imagine with the amount of books I'll be storing I won't even get close to that size, is there anything else to take into consideration? Do people browse the web on these things? I can imagine browser cache could take up some amount of storage and in theory it wouldn't be a bad way to read longer articles found on the web

Audiobooks take up bunch of space if u r into it. For books 8gb is enough

Audiobooks are much better on an ipad, iphone, or android device IMO.
