It's a good price, just the hounds are angry that it's QLC and not a PS5 compatible NVME. For someone just looking to cheaply upgrade from an SSD, it's pretty decent.
I have this and been using for several months. Loads my MS FS 2020 and many GB's of add-ons quickly and loads the graphics at max. settings with no hesitations.
Just as quick as my Samsung PRO 980 2 TB.
Don't understand the downvote, this is a good price for what is essentially an average performing drive.

$5 cheaper than last deal, love, hate relationship with dropping drive prices. Love that they're getting cheaper, hate that I paid more just a month ago

I heard that it supports PS5 from previous threads.

PS5 does support it but the speed is not up to spec what it uses. You need one that reads at 5,500MB/s or above, this one does 4125 MB/s
Yet far faster than you'll ever need in a ps5. It's marketing bullshit. Sony has lots of that.
You can get the slowest, dog shit gen 4 nvme (that's slower than gen 3 drives) and every game loads nearly just as fast. Of course, they play the exact same and nothing in the future of the console is going to change that.

Bottleneck for game loading usually the CPU anyway. The difference is still 2-3 seconds when comparing SATA SSD vs top tier Gen 4 on PC games. PS5 probably is the same.

If I understand right this is pretty much the best QLC you can get, so not much of a downside. For the price it's an excellent upgrade from an os hard disk or as a secondary drive. It's not as fast as some SSDs, but the price is right and the average user wouldn't notice the difference anyway.

You'd think the entire 300m population has PS5! Don't have one, don't want one, and don't know anyone with one. Enuf PS5... no one can't tell a difference with these drive speed v 980p etc! If the can, they are lying. Solidigm purchase Intel's SSD business. If this anything like 670p, it's excellent!

You pretty much pay for the product. If it works as expected then great. Otherwise, buckle up. It's gunna be a long ride.

There's a group here that been down voting everything more than usual last few months. Ignore. Suspect either trolls or some competition
