for anybody interested in the USB power outputs, arguably the most useful part of these things...

Rated Output Voltage (USB-A Parallel Ports).....................12W max (Up to 2.4A @ 5V DC)
Rated Output Voltage (USB-C port) .........45W max (Up to 3A @ 5V, 9 V, 12V, 15V DC / up to 2.25A @ 20V DC)

LOL, I guess that would work, but I'd think that one of Ridgid's LED light options would use the battery more efficiently.

Why didn't you post it or mention it then for others to benefit from it. Saying it now is not useful to anyone

This seems like a very good deal. Shipping hurts a little but this was previously FP with a 2ah and charger. I understand this is factory blemish but these products are just as good if not the same as brand new.

I bought both during the recent 40% off sale. After the shipping it comes out to about the same, maybe a few dollars less doing it this way.

Anybody have experience with the inverter and how does it compare to the Ryobi version?

I bought the inverter alone for $48 with free shipping on 1/27/23 from Direct Tools Outlet.

I initially thought these were kind of dumb, but my wife pointed out that we could charge our cell phones during power outages, and that was enough to convince me.

Seems like a good deal with the batteries included.

That's what I have mine for as well. Also I grabbed one of these adapters so I can plug in a bulb for lighting a room during outages. Worth the $3

Pretty cool inverter. I like that it turns your Ridgid batteries into USB powerbank and a backup AC power supply.

Since I have a lot of Ridgid batteries already, I'll sell the two free 4ah batteries that come with it to make this inverter an even slicker deal 😁

With the 2x free batteries this is a great deal. USB-C port is a nice upgrade over the Ryobi inverter I have now (that I use with a Ridgid battery adapter and really like also)

I got this with the 2ah battery deal last year and we love it. My wife had a couple of surgeries this year and it was great for powering a cold therapy machine while riding in the car on trips. Nice for powering laptops too while traveling.

My daily is a 30 year old Land Cruiser that has a very finicky cigarette lighter. I don't feel like pulling the dash to rewire it....Could I potentially just leave this in the center console to charge headphones/phones/etc....? I have a power bank right now, but the idea of having a traditional plug option is pretty neat.

I selected TWO inverter units (which 'should' give you four 4ah batteries), but it seems the cart stays at only 2 'free' batteries and no way to adjust that.
Placing two separate orders defeats any deal, as then you'd have 2 x the $14.99 shipping costs.

Sure. The temperature swings inside a vehicle may not be great for the battery, but with Ridgid you get free replacements batteries if/when they die.

No, not on their 18v inverter they carry in stores https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI.../308460871

There is apparently a newer version https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI...07#overlay
