It is...ddr5 came out mid 2020, dd4 is still the standard however.
But you know, this is SD, so if it's not some Cyberpunk, 22nd century, pre-release tech, it's old, out dated and shit.
when price is high because of build quality, people give it crap cuz specs are never good enough
when price is great for the specs, people give it crap for build quality
if you want everything, spend more folks. companies are not in the business of giving stuff away. if you have better examples for the price, feel free to share.
I have the 3060 of this laptop and the chassis is awful. I use it as a desktop replacement. Rarely open or close it- and the hinge still broke after 6 months. The plastic used is really cheap and it gets quite hot. Good specs for the price if you don't move it, but don't think of this as a laptop you can use like a laptop.

1. Battery Life:
Quote from one of the reviews posted by rruff above "The MSI Pulse 66 has a number of really cool features but the battery life is mediocre. In addition to the hefty, power-hungry hardware, the Cooler Boost 5 mechanisms as well as the RGB lighting drain the battery pretty quickly.
You'll be able to extend battery life by turning off RGB lighting in the MSI Center application, but with RGB lighting turned on, we had a battery benchmark test duration of 3 hours and 26 minutes on a full battery charge."
EDIT - Noticed that the second review linked in the same post above says "good battery life for a gaming laptop"
