The silver version is just untouched stainless steel.

If you care about scratches and paint chips on Apple products it's always better to get the silver/white versions because the aluminum and stainless steel on those do not have those issues.

And if you do get a scratch on the SS you can polish them out to brand new condition. You can't do that with the colored versions because it would take off the color.
I've a S4 SS in Space Black, not a single scratch. You'll have to be a very rough user to scratch even non-silver SS versions

My Space Black S4 also has no scratches and I've had a Milanese band on it since day one. However, that was not an Apple band but instead, cheap knock off. I heard that with the Graphite the way Apple does the coating on the watch and the band makes them much more likely to scratch than the previous Space Black. Not sure if that's true or not.

For now, I'm wearing my Graphite S7 with a sport band and keeping the Milanese that came with it in the box. Since I'm also trying to sleep with the watch on, the rubber band feels way more comfortable than the Milanese which catches on every fabric it comes in contact with.

I ordered the gold 41 few days ago, and was thinking about maybe switching, but oh well

I'm talking about the one with Milanese Loop, as those are $50 more in list price than the Sport Band, but was the same sale price on Walmart.

It shows available when I click the link in the OP (Milanese Loop/SS/45mm). I'm in Utah and it may just depend on location, but I don't think this deal is dead yet.
