Very nice stand, I have it. Not very stable when rolling over soft ground (wheels are quite close to each other). Accommodates majority if not all 10" miter saws and many 12". If saw does not fit, piece of plywood is your friend.

Support arms are slightly off-center and so they twist under heavier load (12' 2x4 etc) but not as bad as cheaper stands (Ryobi).

Nice feature is levers to depress leg lock buttons, on cheap stands you need to push lock button itself.

BTW last picture shows different larger stand.

Can anyone speak to how this is on not perfectly level ground with a larger saw? I see that it's got some adjustment on the legs, but not a lot of reviews talk about it.

I have a 12" sliding compound saw and my garage floor is pitched at an angle and wonder how it'd do in my environment. Wonder if I should just wait for one of the bigger guys.

Yes but it is not designed to store the saw when folded up. I see some people can make it work but had to adjust the arms to prevent the stand from falling over.

Looked at this last year but ended up with the bigger model since it is designed to store the saw folded up and easier to setup/pack down.

Even if it'll clip on, it will make your saw table too high and this isn't really designed for much in the way of sideways loads. DeWalt makes specific table saw stands for good reason.

I just bought the Rigid R4251. This stand might seem a little light duty for that. Wondering if I should just shell out for the AC9946 stand…but it's 2.5x the cost of this one!

I just bought the massive R4222 and I don't really have a good place to put it until I get a stand. I would like something portable, but $250 is a little much for the AC9946. It looks like it was on sale for $150 just under a year ago and then again last fall. Might be best to wait a bit.

I have the Dewalt version, and I would agree. I hate the style of stand in the original post. This one, the Dewalt one, or even the Delta variant are fantastic options if you can get it at a good price...and it's worth the wait.

The key to making this stand work for storing the saw with the stand folded up is to slide the saw all the way to the end that has the wheels and supports for standing on end. That puts the saw right at the bottom when storing the stand on end, pretty much eliminating the tendency to tip that occurs if keeping the saw positioned in the middle (where it is positioned when in use) when storing. Sliding it down after use and before storing is still less hassle than removing the saw.

Yeah and it can work with this but it's not designed to do so, per the manual. If the wheels were further apart it would be a more viable solution. I went with the model below which solve these concerns.

Will say I inflation is definitely taking a hit on these. Picked mine up about a year ago for $110 and the thread model was ~$70 at the time.
