This stand is good. The Ridgid version with the wheels is fantastic.

Ah man, I wanted the other Ridgid stand. Anyone know what a good deal for the other one is?

I've seen the other one on Direct Tools for $100-110 refurbished, but it sold out immediately.

I got it for $99 from HD about 3 or 4 years ago. They used to go on sale 3 or 4 times a year and I waited for one of the sales. Not sure if it's still a thing.

Harbor Freight's 90-day warranty is not very confidence inspiring. Ridgid is lifetime.

Thank you. I keep forgetting about HF's 90-day warranty. Frankly, 90 days is a joke. Looking at it again, the HF holds an additional 150-lbs. I wonder if that will ever make a difference in the real world use for a DIY like me

Ryobi has no wheels. A heavy sawhorse type stand. For $39, its OK. For $59, close call to get the Ridgid compact with wheels (this one) for $99. The other ridgid is great. It used to be on sale for $75 prepandemic, now the cheapest was DTO refurbished for $100.

All depends how often you use and what you are supporting. If it is a 12" mitre, get the full Ridgid one. For 10" mitre, you can do with any of these, if you use it a lot, then this one with wheels will work OK. If you use it only occasionally, then save some $ and get the$59 Ryobi.

I did grab the 110 refurb, which was avail thurs to all weekend afaik. Still is avail but no deal. Wish I knew HD was going to have sale though. With tax/total, I was only saving 20$ after my usual $15 off HD coupon. Now I'm stuck with only 1 yr wty vs lifetime. But I'm optimistic since no electronics on this.

What coupon do you use for that?

You have to sign up for the HD store or cc. Then periodically they send you coupons. Lately I've been getting 15 off 150+.

Nothing from Harbor Freight compares to anything from Home Depot or Lowes. It only makes sense to buy a tool from Harbor Freight if you can get it for 50-80% cheaper than a good quality version and if you're OK with it breaking and ending up in the trash much sooner than you think.

Unfortunately Harbor Freight's post-pandemic prices are now about the same as legitimate retailers, except for the same price or more you're getting a much inferior product at HF. Their legacy of coupons and cheap tools is gone and the quality hasn't improved. Don't get scammed by HF. They've changed.
