Nope. Anything that's same box or one item number is not hackable.

Still a good deal if it's what you need. If it's not, keep waiting... 18g was just on sale a week or so ago.

What do you use the brad nailer for as a DIYer. Seems like something use once like on baseboards and then it sits in the closet.

Facts! I supposed u could always help the neighbors out lol. These are also good on loose stairs

This is a decent deal but not really great. The regular prices are ridiculous. I got the nail gun for around $80 last year and the brush less jig saw around $50 from previous deal a few years ago. I guess 25% is the inflation in the last couple years.

I just got mine last week, but my immediate uses are going to be window sills.

After that, I often make custom picture frames/ glass/mirror frames for a friend who does crafty things with them. A brad nailer would really help with that.

Other uses are going to be similar craft projects, small pieces of furniture/wall art, and being a general nuisance around the house.

I've already used it to fix some cabinet trim and tack plywood in place on the chicken coop before adding screws.

Wasn't that a Cyndi Lauper song "Girls Just Want a Nail Gun"?

Really want the 18g nailer and multi-tools combo but must resist as I spent more than I wanted to when DTO has the 40% off sale plus free shipping.

Great deal though. The brushless 18g nailer alone is normally priced at $179 or $189 and I don't think you'll see this kind of deals posted much by Home Depot for their daily deals. Most of time, they just repeat the same things, like vacuums, lights, and furniture but let me know if I'm wrong.

I just received my RECON brad nailer from DTO....

I fixed four pieces of loose trim throughout the house...

Now, I'm like Homer when got his gun - Im looking for an excuse to use it. I feel like I need to trim out my doorways and archways with fancy stuff. find me a reason!
I also bought a couple of them as well. How much did you pay? Reconditioned was incorrectly listed at $90/each (40%) when it was supposed to be $75 (50%) with the Code JANFREESHIP. It said $75 + tax up until you actually pay, then switched to the 40% off ($90) in the invoice.

I emailed them 2 times without a response over the past 1.5 weeks, with screenshots showing the difference. I finally received an email 2 days ago that said to call for this issue. I told the rep what was up, she immediately refunded the $15.xx back for both.

I'm just curious, where did you get the 18ga brushless brad nailer P322 for $80 NIB last year?

For$100 it costs you may rent pneumatic tool and compressor for two days. Do your math

I have the 16g brad nailer and it's inconsistent. Sometimes it drives the nail and sometimes it will jump back and leave it halfway embedded. My brother's 16 g ryobi just straight up stopped turning on or working. I would only try this if you can return it easily.

Otherwise in my personal experience, ryobi does not make good nail guns. But you get what you pay for. Just my anecdotal experience.
I've heard a bad things about the 16ga nailer but great things about the 18ga and 23ga nailers. Not a lot of difference between the brushless vs brushed 18ga nailers, but they both seem to review really well by everybody. The 23ga too. The biggest problem with the 23ga is there is no bump mechanism. But everybody seems to like the 18ga nailers.

I have the brushless 18ga nailer but haven't had a chance to use it yet, so I can't comment personally on it despite owning it. Looking forward to doing some trim with it, though!

Go put up some wainscoating somewhere. Or decorative wall trim: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/97460779415812216/

Thank you! I will call also. I saw it was $90 on the invoice - Can you send me your screenshots? I didn't catch that.

Sure, I'll include them. You'll have to call most likely as they are definitely not great at email responses, and ultimately just told me to call. Cheers
