WATCH OUT FOR FAKES AND COUNTERFEITS -- they're all over the place. It's tough to get real ones for this price and peace of mind. They are significantly better than any fakes, even if the fakes look ok. The engineering and materials are not the same.
This is the Official Match Ball for UEFA Champions League 2022-2023. I have collected these starting in 2006. These are not your common department store variety, Capitano, Glider, Top Replique, top training, nor competition. FIFA Approval.
The price is high compared to your basic $15-$30 Adidas balls, but if you collect or want the best, these are it
Most youth and even adults tend to complain using these. If you inflate 6-8 (much lower than FIFA pressure) for youth and 9-10 for adults should be ok. 12-15 is where the pros play. Honestly the mid-level (top training) are probably better for kids up to about 9th grade.
Don't leave outside with the dogs.

The match balls are better all the way around. They have tougher PU covers, better bladders, better seam bonding, better valves. They hold air better and tighter. They can take higher stress and air pressure. They have a more advanced texture and a non-gerenic panel pattern. If you're a player and enthusiast, you will recognize the difference... They also (for me) play more true/accurate, the padding and response is superior. The printing is awesome. The whole surface also has like a 'clear coat' that protects the artwork from easy scuffing.
Also a big tip: NEVER DEFLATE the higher end Adidas balls. This is something people do to cut down on shipping/package size and inadvertently it happens in long term storage (throwing it in sports bag or a shelf). The bladders can adhere to themselves and tear...and the covera will guaranteed permanently crease. Keep them inflated...always (at least a few PSI).
The mid-grade are good, too. But not like the match ball. Mid grades are typically tagged as a Match Ball Replica and have a lower FIFA approval rating. They call them Top Training, Top Replique,
The lower end are called Glider, Capitano, Training (not top training). Usually three are stitched, but they have started doing some with cheaper seam bonding. The covers are much thinner and easy to tear. If they get any weathering they harden and discolor quickly. Often they make these cheap balls as logo/team balls, neon colors, pink balls, etc, then jack up the price by $10.
They also have NHFS (school) and Competition balls which are usually more expensive than the Top Training, but personally I've found those to be less durable and the reviews often agree. Panels come loose, etc.
There are also Sala/Futsal balls...two grades. A standard and Top Sala. These are softer, don't have as much rebound and can be heavier. Meant for indoor use. They are stitched balls.
Here are some versions of the Al Rihla (World Cup Ball). You can see a lot just in the photos (panels, details, price, and descriptions).
