Walmart had the 45mm version for $20 cheaper two weeks ago. It may be worth waiting if that matters to you.

As for band colors: you can buy a $10 band from Amazon in whatever color you want. It's trivial to change. I'm using my band from the Series 3 watch — props to Apple for keeping for the connection the same for so many years.

As for aluminum vs stainless steel: I have never owned the latter, but I abused TF out of my aluminum 3 for over four years — no protection. Zero scratches on the watch itself — one on the glass front, but that's pretty acceptable in my opinion.

Can you share a link to the color bands you are referring to ?

Unfortunately it's not the same for everyone. I wish I had (or could afford) the SS. The glass on my series 5 aluminum and series 7 aluminum scratches VERY easily.

Glass is the same. Aluminum vs stainless steel refers to the body of the watch itself
