From a supposedly T-Mobile employee on Reddit, here is the latest update (5/1/2023) on Autopay discount:
Source:
https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...ange_date/
The new autopay changes requiring a debit card or bank account to receive the discount goes into effect on May 18th.
EDIT: May 18th is for new and existing customers just enrolling in autopay
May 20th customers enrolled in autopay without debit card/back account/T-Mobile money will receive text messages over the next several months depending on bill cycle. They will receive a text message 30 days before their autopay discount is removed. Then a 15 day reminder, and again 3 days before. So the date for existing customers enrolled in autopay will vary from account to account.
Most reloadable cards are eligible for the autopay discount while non-reloadable are not and cannot be used for autopay.
Will update this post with more information as I get it.

I was shocked when I found Verizon's tactics of only discounting their card! But matches all their other trashy tactics.
"majority of our customers use their bank account or debit card for AutoPay and will continue to get a discount on top of an already great rate plan value."
Lol
2 different accounts with 10 each
Mehhhhh F T-Mobile
Literally what my us bank cash+ give me on 2 select categories too… seems like home internet also affected. Gives me a chance to dump the home acct a month after getting $100 bonus is how I'll look at it.
Lag seems decentish for gaming even and family of 5 pulls 1tb+/month easily from it, oh well

Lol
Majority of Americans can't be trusted with credit cards so that's good stats?

This was the response from Tmobile rep that yes we are dropping the benefit but will only affect 10% or less
So they say lol
I don't believe that

All right folks, I am now ready for the nay-nays.
Or pay like 99% of the bill manually with the CC and let autopay debut like the last $1 of your bill.
