I have a LG 27UK650 monitor. It started bleeding in all 4 corners right after the warranty ended. This seems to be a known issue for this type of LG monitors. Contracted LG customer service and terrible experience dealing with them. Not worth wasting the time.

Last time the UP600 was on sale at Best Buy for $189.99, nobody cared and suddenly this outdated and worse model is upvoted ?

What's the best place to buy a monitor from these days? I know newegg changed their policy regarding dead pixels and now allows returns with even one dead pixels, although I'm not sure who pays for shipping in that case. In the past I purchased from Costco when possible as returns for any reason are easy and free. Over the past few years I did actually buy 2 monitors with a dead pixel that I had to return, and I'm not willing to settle with dead pixels.

For pure convenience and peace of mind I'd say Best Buy. Even if their selection isn't exactly expansive, most highly rated monitors can be had through their website though and returns are easy even if it's only 14 days. After that I'd say Amazon, but I'd be curious to see what others think myself since I've been in the market for the right deal for a while now.
