Need to purchase 1,2, or 4TB SSD, which will trigger the discount for the HDD.
* Purchasing the HDD by itself will not get you to the stated prices.

Any 1,2, or 4TB SDD
i.g) WD_BLACK SN770 NVMe™ SSD 2TB :$119

+

Depands on which size of 14TB+ HDD you get
WD Red Pro gets
- 14TB : $269.99 -> $208 ($72 off, 23% off)
- 16TB : $279.99 -> $224 ($56 off, 20% off)
- 18TB : $349.99 -> $240 ($110 off, 31% off)
- 20TB : $399.99 -> $320 ($80 off, 20%)
- 22TB : $499.99 -> $400 ($100 off, 20%)

Better discount on 18TB and 22TB, also don't forget 3% cashback

I tired to fix the price but Slickdeals is not allowing me. Get 18TB or 22TB for better disocat rate. Also FYI, this is a SSD+HDD combo deal, caveat is that you have to buy SSD to get the discount on HDD. If you have PS5 or think to expand SSD storage on PC, it's a Good/Fair price for SSD and Great price for HDD

Confused me at first, then I re-read the OP.
Need to purchase an SSD, which will trigger the discount for the HDD.

Purchasing the HDD by itself will not get you to the stated prices.

Not a bad deal, but I don't need another SSD.

I have 3 x 14 TB drives right now, space for 1 more. I wish the costs made more sense for the 20tb drives... $13/TB for the 18TB vs $16/TB for the 20TB with a marginal cost of $40/TB for those last 2TB. Of course I also don't really need another SSD, either, unless you can get a 4tb for like $200.

Maybe ssd demand is slackening... hdd has a killer app as backup vaults so demand isnt going anywhere for time being.. up or down...

think it's just inevitable since the top-tier(?) model. at least with the discount you can get 18TB at the lowest among them. ($240/18=$13.33/TB) I say $13.xx/TB range is always a killer deal

That's a GREAT deal on an 18tb Red Pro! I really wish I hadn't bought two in the last holiday season. I can always use SSDs....

I believe the discount is only good for 1 HDD (I was hoping to buy a few for my NAS).

Thanks! Did the same deal. Almost made the mistake of buying a 16TB Gold which would have been $260.

I got 2 sets of 1TB SSD and 18 TB Gold drives. I had to do 2 separate orders because the discount wouldn't apply twice on the same order. Also used 12% PayPal cash back, but he 10% new WD user discount would not apply to the deal.
