Same comment here. I have never been burned by a Costco purchase value-wise. TJ's Signatory bottlings can be bad.
Agree with your (and the quoted) comment. I've found the Kirkland alcohol to be very good for their price (really enjoyed their Kirkland bourbon). Trader Joe's brand has been hit or miss. If I had to select one...it would be Kirkland.

They do... not sure if they have that one right now but theres a Costco in Oceanside, Long Island that sells Kirkland brand liquor. Thats the only one in entire NY i believe... or at the very least NYC area. If you happen to go and they have it, let me know.
Our Costco in NY has an attached small liquor store on the side of the building (separate entrance/registers), but I've never seen any Kirkland liquors there, unfortunately.

Are you talking about Holbrook? Good prices but small selection and no Kirkland.

I wish… But no, they are separate entities and do not sell Kirkland brand. At least the ones in North Fort Worth and Lewisville.

Texas liquor laws do not allow Costco to sell distilled alcohol -- only beer and wine (same with any grocery store). The liquor stores attached to Costco locations are owned and run by non-Costco businesses, and you will not find Kirkland brand liquor in them.

So yes -- you can find out if they have it by reading the above, and the answer, sadly, is "no" for all Texas Costco locations. Damned shame, too.

If you're referring to westbury liquors, that's not part of costco.

I'll probably make a trip there this weekend. Will let you know if they have.

Nice find! Kirkland wines and liquors have seldom let me down. Macallan 12 retails for $65 at Costco, so for an 18 yr SM Scotch, this is a great price!

This is an amazing bargain. Give a blind taste test and this will easily outperform any scotches at this price range.
Appreciate the reassurance that this would be a good purchase! My buddy is always on the lookout to try different scotch so looking forward to hear what his thoughts on trying this one.

Anyone know if St Louis Park, MN has this. I was there two days ago and nothing
Aren't all the schools closing today? I'd probably skip going anywhere.

Any scotch aficionados that can chime in on the quality of this? Was thinking about gifting this to a friend who's a heavy scotch drinker.
I'm no expert but:
This is new and 46% / 92 proof. All the reviews I see are the 40% / 80 proof which is discontinued. I bought a bottle 3 days ago. I am not going to describe how it is flowery, citrus with a light malt 'cause that sounds like BS.
I like it a lot and will buy another when it is gone.

As a gift? Its a really nice 18 year old with absolutely no prestige at all. A whiskey drinker will admire it, a poser will get hung up on the label.
