I would recommend the 5-1 if you have deeper cuts or larger items.
Ex. Half chicken

The 6-1 Xl is wider but it's a lot shallower and your meat may hit the splash guard.

It grills and air fries pretty well.

I have the griddle version one of this which is basically the same thing with an extra parts for a griddle. I love the device. It works great but sometimes I do miss my barrel version of the ninja air fryer which was a lot faster to heat up and clean. This is a great price by the way.

I always forget after not using SD for a while that the comments are either going to be sh!tting on the deal and everyone else's positive comments or just straight sh!t posting.

If you're new and actually trying to get your rep, just always trash the thread and call the deal a piece of a sh!t and everyone will always love you.
A deal that puts you six feet under is false savings. https://www.health.state.mn.us/co...oainfo.pdf

But hey! I said testicles! And thus my post was deleted.

P.S. I am not new, and I don't care about reps. Personally I bought a 5-in-1 as it specifically addressed the health concerns. (I avoid teflon like the plague)

I've had one of these that I bought from Costco about 2 years ago. It's been truly fantastic with the exception of the temperature probe.

First, the probe sometimes isn't even recognized. For instance, if you use the preset grill mode for med rare beef, it'll say to plug in the probe even if it's already plugged in. Eventually, it seems to recognize it.

Secondly, and more importantly, the probe has gotten waaaay off in its accuracy. A few weeks ago I was making some prime ribeyes and set the grill to 2nd level rare. I noticed the internal was hanging around 100 degrees for far too long and took the steaks off. Sure enough, I ended up with well-done $40 steaks. 😟
Do you happen to know if a replacement for the temperature probe is available? At cost, doesn't matter, temperature is essential for good cooking. All I'd need is a compatible model down the road.

Did my research folks short answer is they are the same, the model number listed is inherited from Costco naming system which means these are probably dented or scratched in Costco store and won't sold, forget about the cancer chemicals piece of shit plz…do u think Costco will let it happen??

Thank you for the research, but PTFE/PFOA concerns are relatively new, and costco sells plenty of teflon products.

can anyone comment on how bad will the scratches and dents be?
Can't tell unless you actually buy one. Past experience tells me that they're not that bad. It's certainly functional and if you're lucky, the blemishes will be in back, away from view. I bought the Instant Pot 8qt version of this (Pressure cooker + Air fryer) for $50 refurbished. There is a big dent in back but the machine works perfectly. I chose the Instant Pot over Ninja because it has a sous vide function which I use monthly (not only for sous vide, but also to make yogurt).

The biggest concern I have is that 5qt is too small for most households, even if you're single. 6qt is the standard size for pressure cookers. Good for a college dorm though.

Inner cooking utensil is made on thin non-stick, not stainless steel. You can get cookers with stainless steel innards. I'll pass.

Mine still hasn't shipped but they won't let me cancel. They just gave me a $10 coupon for a future purchase to make me go away.

Your link says that the casual exposure to the chemical used in non-stick cookware is not harmful, but it's harmful when it's in the water supply. We're not buying these devices to grind them up and put them in our water supply.

It's enough for it to come off and eat it with the stew you made in it.

My XL 6 in 1 arrived yesterday. Looks brand new inside. Some light scuffs on the plastic outer housing and the non-stick pan has some light scuffs. I'm pretty happy with the condition.

Mine came with a piece of paper that says the coating is ceramic and PTFE-free.
