I don't recommend Newegg due to their anti consumer policies, but I own these speakers and they are top tier price to performance ratio. You would need to pay significantly more for a marginal improvement in sound quality. These are great for home theater and music alike in my experience.

I paid $240 for mine and they're worth every penny at that price. under $200 is a steal.

My personal Newegg story - I pre ordered Witcher 3 10+ years ago with store credit from returned merchandise. They did not process the transaction at the time of the purchase, and my store credit expired by the time they shipped the game. They changed the full $60 to my credit card and my store credit simply disappeared.

My recommendation - always use a credit card with good consumer protections when buying from Newegg or other questionable retailers. In my experience, Chase has been not great lately, USAA has been awful, and American Express has generally been the best.

Bought these a couple months ago for the same price, no regrets and a great value. Use them in a 2.1 system for a TV + turntable and they sound great. Low end is sufficient for music without a sub, and great Klipsch detail as expected. I have a 30w marantz amp that could drive these to painful levels, you don't need a lot of power for high sensitivity klipsch speakers.

These are pretty big for a bookshelf speaker, as an FYI; I'd take a look at the dimensions before buying.

As others noted; these are passive speakers. The only connections they have are for speaker wire from whatever amp or receiver you are using. If you want HDMI connectivity, you are looking at something like a 5.1 receiver. If you just want them for some music, any cheap two channel amp/receiver (from amazon or get a used one locally) will work. Some even have bluetooth, optical or subwoofer connections.

Can anyone recommend an amp/receiver for these? I need inputs from a turntable (preamped not not) and a PC.

I am new to speakers so can anyone guide me that if I want to connect them to my TV what other things I need to buy?
I'd recommend an Aiyima T9, great little DAC/Amp with multiple inputs. Compact 2.1 unit that sounds great

Looking for amp now.
Probably will try with some chinese one, like Aiyima
The Fosi BT30D Pro on ebay for 90 interests me. Seems good from the specs.

Looks great probably sound great too but no remote. I also wish they added a small FM receiver in these. Do you recommend another with remote? Or they don't make these small ones with remotes? At over $150 we are venturing into actual full blown Amp territory form stuff like Sony, $150-$200 regularly on sale but if you want it in your office or small bedroom, you can't go wrong with these compact Amps. If they are close by then don't need remote either.
Also if we use then as Bluetooth, then the source is the remote anyway but I still wish we could have actual remote.

Mine did come with a remote, a very simple small one, nothing fancy. It mentions it coming with a remote on one of the Walmart reviews dated 1/3/23, as well as in the Amazon listing [amazon.com] and you can see it as well as a review on youtube [youtube.com]

Speaker wire and depending on The distance dictates the gauge you'd use

Marantz is higher end equipment and despite the low price of these speakers they are high quality.

I'm using mine with a 1990's era NAD preamp/tuner and 150wpc stereo amp. My equipment can handle much larger speakers but I was just looking for an inexpensive set of bookshelf speakers and these have proven to be a good choice. They are very efficient, requiring little power to put out an incredible amount of clean, crisp, punchy sound. They produce a much larger sound than their size would suggest.

I doubt you will find a better set of new speakers for under $200.
I bet your setup sounds fantastic. I has two older brothers that were into audio in late 80s through 90s. I have good memories of sneaking into their rooms and the hum after pushing the power button on the huge NAD amp and Nakamichi preamp, and the sound that played through the Hafler speakers.

Ordered these on Thursday and received on Saturday. Pleased with them so far. Better bass than I would expect for a speaker this size. Running off an Audio Refinement Complete Integrated and plenty of volume at 25% power.
