This is not a gaming laptop. The Xe graphics are pretty bad, some new games will get above 30fps on low settings, many will be unplayable. Older games, emulation, and eSports will be fine. The best part of the IGP is QuickSync, IMO.
I realize this is an "ultra portable", but $400 seems a bit high for 8GB/250GB. If it was 16GB/512GB or 8GB/1TB, that would sweeten it a bit. The CPU has a lot a threads, but they're not that quick.
Different processor (i3-1115G4), larger screen (15.6") but worse display resolution (1366 x 768). But it is a touch screen!
I wouldn't recommend anything with a 1366x768 resolution at this price point. Especially not great with a 15.6" display. It won't look as crisp and clear as FHD (1920x1080) resolution.

But it does offer free hinge explosions.
