Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again
I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.
It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

Just go to your closest store and order it for pickup. You'll have to go twice but assuming the distance and time is less, makes more sense.
On ps5 and Xbox? Also I thought these units were a thing of the past compared to the newer setups that are wireless or soundbars that take less space. I'm surprised how many people bought this. Not knocking it just thought stereo receivers were a relic in todays day.
While it's a labor of love, there's nothing like a fully dedicated setup; running a quality center for dialogue, 2 mains, front highs, surrounds, high surrounds, multiple subs, and some bass shakers under the couch!
1) does the bluetooth mean that each speaker connects to the receiver through bluetooth or in other words, no need to run wires? Or does it mean it will connect to my phone and play whatever my phone is playing?
2) In light of this being a 5.1 system, I was wondering if I need anything extra to connect it to my low-tech TV, My TV has the following specs:
Composite Video Input 1
Ethernet 1
Headphone Input 1
Optical Digital Output 1
Total Built-In Input Slots 6
Total Built-In Output Slots 2
Tuner Type ATSC/NTSC
USB 1 (Supports Multimedia: Photos,Video & Audio)
VGA Output 0
Wi-Fi Dual Antenna Wi-Fi (MIMO), Dual-Band
HDMI 4 HDMI 2.0 (1 ARC)
Thank you in advance for reading and replying.
