Dude have you read through any of the comments? With so many people still commenting that they missed the deal, it's obvious how many people don't take a little time browse through the comments to track the progress of the deal.

Anyone can get this deal whether your location has it in stock or not. Ask a Best Buy rep to order it for you and they will charge you the sale price. Simple as that. I know it's hard to comprehend Best Buy doing something right after the iPad price match fiasco from a couple of weeks ago but people really need to check the thread comments and stop asking the same questions over and over again

$220 for a Name brand 5.1 4k receiver? And speakers? And a sub? Maybe 10 years ago.

I just paid 250 for this receiver 2 months ago refurbished.

It's a solid device BTW. Paired it with a JAMO set.

I have the HKTS 16 from about 5 years ago that I found through Slickdeals. The specs on the speakers are close to what you've just mentioned about this Yamaha deal (I think?) https://www.harmanaudio.com/HKTS+16.html

Based purely on the specs, which ones should I use for the receiver, the Harmon or the Yamaha ones?
From the specs, HK will most likely sound better as it has two midranges and one tweeter per speaker vs one full range on the yamaha specs for the front and rear.

I have an open box acceptable condition ready for pick up at my local store and I paid $460 for it. New was not available. Does any one know if the price will be adjusted proportionally when I go pick it up at the store? Wondering if I should make the 1 hr+ round trip drive to try it.
Hey, I did the same exact thing. Found an open box for 497 in excellent condition. When I got to the store I asked if they could try and ring it up there and it came up $171! She said the sale price was 220 non open box. She had to return my first purchase then ring it up again for 171 here in socal but I was scared to drive there as well.

I had a similar Harmon set before as my first surround sound system, I doubt these would be an upgrade at all. Got some decent separate bookshelf speakers and keep the hk for surround instead of this. I wasn't an audiophile either until I actually heard good speakers. It makes a big difference from there htib setups.

Tried to place an order in store today. They said they can only ship it to home, but shipping fee was $69. They said there's no option to ship it to store so I can pick it up without paying the shipping fee.

Anyone tried to order one today in store?

I went in today to try to get them to order it for me for store pickup and they said it was impossible on their end so maybe they're completely sold out now. 🤷

The HKs are better but I bet they're also 6 ohm and inefficient. Most HTIB plastic housed speakers are going to be limited in output and dynamics. They're fine on a budget for smaller rooms.

So how do the speakers in here compare to the $150 Jamo sets? I am guessing this sub is better but the Jamo speakers are better?

Can someone who bought it please send me a copy of your receipt (redacted). The best buy manager at my store asked me for proof that other stores have it at this price.thank you!
Have them check the correct SKU of this deal at the point of sale register (not handheld, not online). There's a different model with a similar box that is not on sale.
There's no sense in "proving" anything. Either you had the right unit and it was still on sale at the register or not. As far as anyone can tell, this is not an advertised deal.

Make sure it's the model with Bluetooth and not the one with extra services.
