Multiple access points. Total budget is 120w vs 60w. An access point can use up to 30 watts.

Great price for this switch! I purchase several in the small businesses that I manage. These are manageable via the web interface of the device without any special software. Very easy to use and configure, and for only $5 more than the five port version of this switch! Repped OP!

also, if anyone needs POE plus plus or multi gigabit connectivity, check out this sale.

What are some examples of POE devices that would require 120w of power vs 60w?

Will they not honor the lower price retroactively if you ask them to? Otherwise folks will do what you describe and get the deal anyway but incur additional costs for Amazon, not to mention environmental impact.

It's too bad that model is still just PoE+ like this one. Some of the newer access points like the WAX630 require PoE++. Then again, I guess if you need that kind of newness, you probably also want an MS switch instead of GS.

I'm assuming this is enough power to run 8 hd poe cameras with blue iris? Haven't started researching it yet but I know I need 6-7 cameras and this seems like a good deal

Should be fine as long as you don't plan on any camera with auto tracking. Most of my cams only use 3-6 watts each.

thanks! Need to upgrade my cameras also. So many limited RTSP cams these days. Frown FK WAN!

Blue iris with LAN AI detection is amazing and easy to setup.
