    I'm using one of these to power a 5 board RPi cluster. All of it fits quite nicely in a cloud case I picked up. Nice portable k3s cluster that uses way less power than one of my Dell servers.

    Guess it depends on what you're doing and why. My router tracks the speeds and streaming maxes out at 25MB/s maximum, most are around 16MB/s. Given my usage patterns, I really don't see any real world benefit to these really high speeds but I'm not doing a whole lot of torrent stuff. I can't recall ever needing a sustained speed over 75MB/s with all devices being used and even that is pushing it, but like I said, depends on your use case.

    Because there isn't much benefit for the average user to go beyond 1G. Wireless is half-duplex, 1G is going to be absolutely fine for your Verizon FIOS 1G up/down connection (or whatever) and will be plenty for any wireless that you have.
    2.5Gb stuff is in a tough spot because the pricing isn't that great and most consumer devices still aren't shipping with anything but 1Gb ports. For those that need speed and have the money, they are probably looking at 10Gb kit. It will be interesting to see if 2.5Gb ethernet actually gains a meaningful foothold.
    Properly functioning Gigabit ethernet is fast enough for almost everything, but if you need more speed you are looking at replacing ethernet cards, switches, and probably dealing with SFP modules.
    And if you're going to bother with all of that, you're probably going 10Gb and skipping right over 2.5Gb.
