I have this saw, it's great for what it is, but 2 things:
$99 bucks is a deal, $120 is eh.
Lots of people complain it leaks oil, but if you store it on its side (cap up) it doesn't leak.

When it does leak its not from the cap, it's from the oiler inside the bar housing, but storing it cap up somehow fixes that.

Willing to bet the chain needed sharpened. I've never had issues doing similar tasks.

I added a gasket to the oil reservoir and it still leaked, fyi. Love the saw for small jobs, though.

I was pretty disappointed after following a YouTuber's advice to buy a gasket kit with it. Put a gasket on the cap and it leaked everywhere while hanging from the handle.

Better to just drain the oil when not in use. Some people have put longer bars on also to make the saw more useful for cutting larger items.

This is a great little saw for clearing overgrown brushy areas and saplings. With the brake and light weight, even my fiance uses it.

I borrowed my neighbor's and used a 5AH 20V battery. It's a bit on the weak side. good for small jobs but kind of underpowered for green 6" oak, say.

It does leak oil but of course the oil is from chain gear so it totally makes sense, I use this saw as well, good for what it does, btw its chain seems to be not that sharp, probably will try Oregon chain when this is worn out

Love mine. As other said, store it on its side with oil filler cap up. I bought a couple longer Oregon bars and chains off Amazon for it.

Missed it when it was $144. Bought one. Hoping that it is new and not open box.

FYI you can replace the bar with a 16" one. I use mine with the 8ah batteries most of the time. It's not as strong as a gas saw, but it works great with a fresh blade and patience.
