The PS5 works okay with PCIe 4.0 SSDs that don't quite meet Sony's read speed recommendations, but it will not work at all with a PCIe 3.0 drive like this one.

I was under the impression that PS5 required PCIe 4.0 x4? If so, then this drive would only work in an external enclosure.
