dunno if this is how i should be looking at it... since the 2TB goes on sale for $73 pretty often... i'd only pay max half of that for 1tb.. which would be around $36.. so to me, $40 is meh. buying this would be like paying $80 for the 2TB when every knows it's been cheaper a lot

That's exactly how I feel about it.
If you have a Microcenter nearby they have a $15 in-store coupon for new customers, you could knock it down to $25+tax

If you actually have a Micro Center nearby, there's no way you're a first-time customer. Wink

370 TBW endurance though... DRAM is nice sure, but that's the trade off with QLC.

That means you could delete and rewrite 100GB worth of data every single day for over 10 years. Most people won't even approach that usage, nor will they even use this SSD for 10 years before it becomes obsolete. QLC durability and write speeds are a non-issue if you aren't using it in an enterprise environment or for a niche write-heavy workload.

This is my Intel 665p after 380 days of power-on time, and probably a year and a half of daily usage as my OS drive. Only 15TB written and 99% health.

A great use case for these would be like a scratch drive for video editing if you happen to have a mobo that has an extra NVME slot. Regardless of how picky that person wants to be prices are falling flippin fast.

How can this be only 370 TBW when the Team Group MP34 1TB is 1,660 TBW?

I just ordered the Intel. Should I cancel it and order the Team Group? It's SLC.
