Acmetoolsshop. com (as opposed to acmetools.com which is legit here) registered two weeks ago, with mostly redacted information, and lots of too good to be true prices. Throwing it out there just to warn anybody else. Sad that Google allows such blatant scams in their shopping results.

I have a pure sine wave inverter in my Kubota UTV and I use that to charge spare M12 batteries while I work. Fantastic.
edit - clarified pure sine wave inverter.
Anyway it sure looks fun but sadly my fun limit tops out at $100.

I also have an old 19.2 C3 Craftsman 10 inch chain saw that is still chugging AND leaking bar oil like a sieve and a 10 inch DeWalt 20 volt chain saw that works well leaks less also but for "handy and less than six inches round or two cuts larger, this is my go to with a big battery. Even motorcyclists doing back country runs can put this in a hard side storage it is so small. I generally take my old Craftsman for backcountry runs and fallen trees in the truck, but this around the house for pruning general small branch cutting is hard to beat particularly IF you are already into this battery platform. I beat this price a couple of years ago, but times move on and this seems pretty good now days.
IF you are into a different battery platform that offers a 10 inch saw, you might consider that like DeWalt even Ryobi, but if not and want to start off with a platform, give this a thought. I use the M12 platform for small work like inside cabinets etc., and for my travel trailer where space is always an issue, particularly the older brushed versions of tools that are generally smaller easier to work with in tight places AND substantially less expensive than Fuel versions. They once were top of the line and often compare well performance wise to Fuel ones at twice the price. I use DeWalt for big jobs, and have a FlexVolt table saw and big hammer drills, grinders etc. But for the average homeowner wanting to get into some good tools the M12 platform is an excellent place to start...
The project farm has a good run down on small saws of this type and this one rates very well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxRXpQp

True, but you will cuss a whole lot less with this... And it is so much more satisfying as it grinds it way through than trying to keep a recip saw from bouncing around while you are reaching three feet into a fruit tree to get at that pesky dead branch one handed and the recip saw still leaves that connecting piece at the bottom that frustrates you...leading to four letter words...

That's what I had been using, a Milwaukee Hackzall with a pruning blade. It works but it's not very efficient. I need to whack up some hardwood firewood into shorter chunks and I figure this will be a better tool for the job. Also for bigger pruning jobs.

All DC to AC inverters are sine wave inverters... Modified sine wave or pure sine wave....
Pure sine.....
Speaking of which, I have started taking it camping for clearing trails and cutting firewood and it's been fantastic for that. I take a couple 6.0Ah batteries and have no trouble getting through a weekend and fueling 3-4 campfires. Didn't anticipate that use case, but I'd buy it again just for that.
