How many times will this be reposted at $99 this is like 6 months straight now that it's been posted on sale every other week also do I still get a promo code if shill a fake review
I bought one last Black Friday because SD makes you buy things you don't need.
It's sturdy, well-built. I've used it maybe 2-3 times since then and it has worked well. You can take it on airplanes. Yes, it is heavy by battery standards. But in the grand scheme of things, if you're lugging around a laptop and other electronics anyways, it's not a huge deal.
Exactly!!! This is going to replace a charging brick for me. So nice to not have to hunt for an outlet when i'm out and about.
The only problem with it replacing a charging brick is you'll likely drain the battery fully recharging your laptop. So you will need a way to recharge your Anker, which means carrying around a charging brick to maximize the 100W recharging. I wish this thing came with retractable prongs.

I mostly meant for daily use, but you're right- Will need to pack a brick for travel.
Yeah a pound and a half is a ton on top of my chunky MacBook Pro. The m1 devices get such great battery life as-is I feel less reliant on these things. A 'normal' high ish capacity battery pack has served me well to keep a steam deck or Nintendo switch going for long flights
What do you use to charge your steam deck? I got this power bank because all the lesser ones I tried would either result in the steam deck still losing power... just slower... or the steam deck would refuse to charge at all.
I own a couple of these. The 3.1 PD is great however if you are charging your MBP don't expect a full charge from empty. My MBP went from empty to about 80% on a full 100% charge.

best buy blew out insignia brand batteries a while ago and they had some high capacity PD ones that work really well. i don't know if it would recharge the deck while i was playing, but it would at least maintain the charge and keep me around 100%.

It's not about capacity with this one, it's about charge speed and re-charge speed of the battery. Think a pipe with higher pressure - delivers water faster.
Anyways in for 1. These are expensive to produce. Don't think it's going to drop much further.
Not necessarily. It's capable of fast charging but it's the device you plug into it that is what dictates the current.
This thing paired with a 140w charger is an absolute beast. Fully charged in less than an hour, and it can charge anything I throw at it. Plus it has useful info on the screen. This is the one to get as long as you're good with the size.

Also this is a very high quality device when it comes to battery packs. The batteries that they use are really solid and expensive.

I do a lot of work in cafes and airports, so this will be handy so I don't have to limit myself to seats near outlets.

But I see the Anker 733 is on sale for $70 as well. Seen it drop to that a few times here lately.
Anyone picked on of those up? Thoughts on it? TYIA
