Three-packs of 10-46 (electric guitar) coated string sets usually sell for $22 or higher. I think this is a very good price.

For those who haven't used coated strings, they typically last much longer than uncoated ones. The tone can sometime be a bit less bright.

The elixr strings are some of the best strings you can possibly get. I was using these strings for the last few years and have been very impressed. Recently I tried the polyweb series and I personally like them more, but polyweb adds more bass and mid range where as the nanoweb is better for open strumming. So it depends on your style of play as to what strings to pair with.

These are super slick and don't destroy your hands like most strings do

This *is* a good price. This is ernie ball slinky 3 pack price range. Wish they had it on 9's though.
But what is up with their shipping? I let my Prime expire because I've had it with Amazon,
but even then it says delivery by March 29th for me.
That's NOT in stock amazon.

These strings are a life saver for humid climates where regular strings rust after a couple weeks. But for dryer climates I don't really see the point. When I lived in a humid climate i probably would have quit playing guitar unless I found strings like these.

Just a note on these- the Nanoweb strings are very bright sounding. They're best suited for single coil "jangly" tones from Telecasters and Strats.

If you're a metal player, you may not like these. They're great strings for recording though- very clean and the coating prevents string squeak.

I used to beta test for elixir long ago. They would send me free strings and I would evaluate each version. I kick myself for not doing it longer. 😪 They have come a long way and I love their strings but the price is a little much.

Agreed. I am of the Billy Gibbons school where you don't need heavy strings to get the tone you want.

You're talking about Elixir for acoustics right?

Yeah - I'd totally get this 3x if this was for acoustic but playing regular strings for electric is fine.

Newb here! Would this be good for acoustic for a beginner with small hands? I want something light so it's easier to play and move across the frets, but is 10 too light for an acoustic? Thanks
