FYI: Although the "2023 Line On Us P6" should only apply to people on the Magenta Max plan with no preexisting free lines, their system is allowing many people with existing free lines on Max to get the promo.

Yesterday.
Also y'day, one customer rep said I have free line so may not get phone promo.
I said never mind, thanks
And today I talked again for same it did work out well.
Of course YMMV
Apparently the folks getting discounts for "55+" are never selected for these free line promotions. I did find one thread saying I might qualify for a free line if I add a line to the account. The T-Force people gave a polite "no" and said I should monitor a promotions page. https://www.t-mobile.com/offers?I...8xF3g0xCDw
That one says I'd have to call 611 for any free line promotion. I'd rather go to a Costco kiosk and avoid the $35 fee and get $150 shop card. I have a family line to bring over but without a device subsidy I would need a free line for myself and a shop card to make it worthwhile.
Has anyone tried a buy one, get one on just the phone line? I'd love to know if the Magenta Max 55+ can actually qualify for something as I will never be offered these other promotions.
Thanks,
Dan
I have 55+ too and was told it's not eligible for this offer. Rep said "maybe" some time in the future and he'd put me on a notification list. I told him there were tons of people on regular MM with multiple free lines and paying less than I do for 3 even though I just want to add a fourth. Go figure.
So I did order s23 today paid 48$ in tax upfront and dcc is likely to be there on bill.
24 months bill credits will pay of this phone itself.
Terms say that it does not stack with phone offers. You don't think you are taking a big risk? Credits sometimes don't show up right away which could put you after the return period.
Sure, go for it. 611 does call customer service. Think of T-Force as elevated customer service who know what their doing (but still can make mistakes). This is as opposed to the phone reps you get by calling 611 who may be local or may be offshore. You can reach T-Force by twitter messaging to T-Mobile Help or via message to the T-Mobile facebook group. There may be some way to call T-Force but I'm not aware of that. The other nice perk of interacting with T-Force over messaging is that you have a paper trail of what was said or promised.
Over on the reddit thread, people are saying tforce has been clueless about this. One tforce member said to someone that you have to pay the 35. If you don't, they will manually remove the promo for people who did online. Clueless.
I wouldn't trust it like another user on Reddit said force told them promo will drop off
I had similar happen to me on the last line on us promo end of last year

They definitely have been clueless and a paper trail doesn't do anything
