I have one of these that I bought for a similar price 2-3 years ago and my kids and I have enjoyed it every summer without any problems.

If you're looking for something that tracks like a kayak you're going to be really disappointed with this, BUT if you think of it as a skinny inflatable raft then it's definitely the best you can do for under $125 and proper kayaks are in the $350++ range.

Steering isn't great, the sides are pretty thick so it's not super easy to get a forceful and natural feeling paddle going, but it's extremely durable and comes with everything you need to get on the water except the life vest.
I got this pre-covid for $50ish on Amazon. It's good for some occasional paddling but don't plan on long trips. It takes more effort to move on the water than a regular kayak. But it's great for tossing in the trunk and getting out on the water.

If you have long legs, you won't be suited for longer duration trips. I'm 6 feet and my knees get sore after an hour or so because you really have to squeeze your legs in there

These are awesome on a pond when there's not a ton of wind. If you just want to get on the water occasionally, this is a great way to do it in a package that can fit into the trunk of a small car with ease.

Yep, just anxiously waiting until I can unbox mine and take it out onto my ponds.

Do not recommend. Buy regular kayak instead. I bought this one and regret it.
Can you be more specific about the reasons?

This kayak was great on the lake, even on a windy day. I took it on a long road trip & it was durable, sturdy, and effective. Inclusively, it was inexpensive and easily portable. Deflate and inflating was not an issue, nor did I get punctures. Honestly, it's a great price to paddle, or do some light fishing. The only complaint I had was the paddle which worked just fine, but I wasn't able to race extremely fast compared to "better branded paddles." Not a turn off and can easily be remedied.

Long time to inflate. Seats are uncomfortable. Also could not paddle for long time in that kayak. After couple of use it started to leak (I could not find a leak).

I usually kayak in shark and piranha infested waters. Will this be OK for me?

Oh yes... This will allow you to get close encounters with the sharks and piranhas to have that personal connection that you won't forget ☺️

I take my inflatable on the Indian River in Florida all the time. Get a grip.
