You can not have more than 1 Sapphire card at the same time, and you can not get a new Sapphire signup bonus if you received one on any Sapphire card in the last 48 months.
For anyone debating on whether to go for this, know that the all time high is 100k bonus points, making this a very lucrative opportunity.
You can- I've seen YMMV reports about how many days you need to wait between cancelling and new application though.
Also things to keep in mind:
Use any credits you might have on existing card you haven't used yet.
Insure you move your UR points to a different card before closing old one.

You could have just downgraded to another no annual fee card and saved the hassle.
I already have the other no annual fee cards. Am i allowed to have multiple of the same card? Also, I heard there's a total credit that chase is willing to lend out to customers and ideally don't want to hit that limit.
My wife opened CSP last year , but didn't meet $4000 spending limit( purely due to the fact that she forgot) and then downgraded to CF card last month. Will she be eligible for this offer if she never received the sign up bonus?

Should be yeah--- doesn't hold a current sapphire, and hasn't received a sapphire bonus in last 48 months.
Went in branch today. The representative at the door told me they were not doing any extra sign on bonus for CSP, that whatever the bonus was, was the same as online. 🤷 ♀️ I will be trying another branch later.
EDIT** Went to another branch, CSP did show up with the additional points. The card was expedited and should be here by Friday.
I have a Chase Sapphire only card downgraded from CSR few years back. I want to downgrade this card to a non sapphire branded card. I currently have about 37k points banked. What happens to those points when I say move to Chase Freedom product. I have an appointment scheduled at the bank for 3/22 to apply for CSP. Would I get in on the deal, if I do the steps prior? Any inputs will be appreciated!
Adding another data point from the Northwest side of Austin, TX
I had made an appointment over the weekend for lunchtime today (3/20). The offer pulled on the Chase bank rep's computer screen. I confirmed the offer details & my details. A few short electronic signatures and I was instantly approved. The entire process took about 15 minutes.
I specifically asked about waiving the annual fee but was told the Chase bank rep said they haven't seen that as an option in over a year -- usually they are able to do it if it's option built into the offer, but this wasn't. Nothing that I didn't expected. $95 annual fee for 90K points.. I'll take that any day of the week.
I had the Chase rep rush the card to me so that I can start charging stuff to it right away.
You definitely didn't get the annual fee waived. You'll see this charge on your first statement guaranteed.
G'luck to all!

Which NW Austin branch did you go to? I have appointment scheduled with branch located at Parmer and Avery Ranch.
$900 in statement credits/cash (statement credits having slightly more value since you also earn on the spend they offset)

Nothing happens to them, they stay with the card since you're changing from one type of UR card to another UR card.
After spending 6k in 6 months you will get at least 96000 point, at bare minimum thats is $960 cash back, minus $95 anual fee, so you get "free" $865, worth it ?
(assuming you pay off the card each month so no interest charge added)
